True Serenity Day Spa

Stumbled upon True Serenity 7 years ago when I first moved in the neighbourhood and have been getting pampered and waxed every 1.5-2 months ever since. Shinder is professional, knowledgeable, caring, funny and sweet. If you are in need of any facial/body treatments whether it be a massage or a wax, I definitely recommend you contacting Shinder. You will not be disappointed.

Cute and clean spa attached to a home. Dont let the home business put you off, Shinder is super at her work and is friendly and accomodating. Also her prices are among the best in the area.

We booked appointments for 2 90-minute massages at 10 am. We get there, and by there i mean a house in the suburbs complete with a family and slamming doors, and they arent even actually expecting us to show. They wanted us to go back and forth with endless confirmations, apparently. I was hesitant to even approach the place, but did for my friend. The woman that greets us is surprised to see 2 people there, despite the fact that we booked 2 appointments. She says she can only do 1 at a time. I dont have the patience or time to spend 3 hours in someones house getting a probably sketchy massage. She offered the 60-minute and then the 30-minute massage. My friend took her up on it. I sat around waiting and decided I was too angry and tired of kids slamming doors to get what is supposed to be a relaxing massage. As soon as my friend finished, we left. I'm not sure how her massage went. I cant imagine it was great - what with the slamming doors. Don't go here. Its not worth the hassle.

Very relaxing, comforting massage, Shinder was very kind and it was such an amazing experience for my first time going to a spa. I would definitely recommend!! I love that its attached to her home in a cute and cozy spot. Very cheap prices for amazing work!!!
