Loved this workshop. My wife and I were able to find new ways to communicate and work together on bettering ourselves and our relationship. I've waited a bit to post this review, and can truly say that everything we learned is still sticking and we are still working on moving forward, together.

We used Kathleen for couples counselling and we don’t think we would have gotten through some hard times without her and her guidance. Kathleen made both of us feel so seen and heard, we felt that she was truly invested in the health of our relationship. Our first session was long and emotional and Kathleen made us feel so safe and comfortable during such a vulnerable time. We returned when our relationship was healthier and we had a lot of fun in our follow up sessions diving further into each other and how to make our relationship even stronger. Kathleen introduced us to some great resources that we still use today. We told Kathleen she has a seat at our wedding when that day comes! We wouldn’t be here without her. 10/10

This retreat is for ANYone in a serious relationship. It helped me to understand my partner better and also how to communicate with him on a whole different level. We have reconnected and have a new level of respect and love for one another.Kathleen was wonderful too, she really holds space for each couple as well as each individual. You only have to share or participate with whatever you are comfortable with too. I have already shared the information with 3 couples as I hope it helps them as much as it did us. 100% recommend to everyone and anyone in a relationship looking to improve their communication and understanding.

Epic weekend retreat with Kathleen and her amazing husband. This is exactly what we needed to kickstart our relationship. Highly recommend for every single couple, no matter what part of the relationship journey you are in.This was an amazing experience with an amazing host. She expertly navigated the complex environment of marital relations and introduced amazing communication techniques.I don't know of any other retreat that is offered that is able to provide the type of experience which actually increases the emotional bond that is so imperative to healthy marital relations.

The retreat was very helpful to my wife and I - emotional at times, but fun and we felt so connected by the end of the weekend. There are some excellent communication tools that help us express our feelings and needs, and to understand each other better. And some great tips on injecting more romance into the marriage. Kathleen is wonderful.

If you are to the point where you are reading this, STOP and just book. It will be beyond worth it. Kathleen is amazing!!My wife and I have been together for 10 years, married for 9. We have 3 kids and both live busy lives. We often struggled communicating which would lead to periods of disconnect.We decided to take part in the Getting the Love You Want Couples Weekend Retreat. We had never met Kathleen before this weekend and can say with extreme confidence that she is REALLY good at what she does. I am often the shy quiet guy, especially in a room full of complete strangers, but felt safe and encouraged to open up. I learnt how become the listening partner that my Wife needs and how to be able to communicate my needs with her in a manner that she can handle. I also learnt a lot about my partner and have a whole new understanding and respect towards her.When we left Banff that Sunday I had a smile on my face that last the whole 3-1/2 hour drive home. We both left with so much optimism and excitement of what our relationship will be like from now on. I owe so much to Kathleen you truly are a saviour!! Thank you over and over again. I am looking forward to attending part 2.0!!!

Attending both of Kathleen’s couples weekend retreats, I am forever grateful for Kathleen’s knowledge, kindness, and skill. Having the retreats in Banff is the perfect setting to support the learning and work that goes into each day- nice to get away with my partner, while learning so much about myself and each other. The content of the weekend is the perfect amount- you get so much out of it, without being overwhelmed. At first, I was nervous about a group setting, but it brought so much depth to the learning process. There is a mixture of delivery throughout the weekend- videos, songs, activities, etc. that keep you engaged and involved. Kathleen created such a warm place for us to be vulnerable and honest- which created a perfect place for healing and growth. In addition to the retreats, Kathleen’s therapy sessions are top notch! She is patient, honest and kind- even with us, who can be a bit high maintenance or dramatic. Found a real gem with Kathleen, hope she hosts these retreats yearly- they have been immensely helpful and we are so grateful for the growth she was supported us through. Five stars always, forever and a day!

The love of attraction, couples retreat with Kathleen was so transformative. I highly recommend this weekend to any couple that is looking to deepen their relationship. We learned positive ways to communicate with one another, which ultimately strengthened our bond as a couple. Not only were we able to utilize our new tools to strengthen our marriage. It also helped us understand how to connect more deeply with our children. It is a very intimate weekend filled with all sorts of helpful techniques that helped repair the hurt we were experiencing in our relationship. We loved Kathleen and loved the experience. Very eye opening. The skills we learned help us understand each other and either let more go or communicate our needs effectively! As Kathleen says “you can be right or you can be married!”

It was so fantastic to attend this over the weekend. I had huge a-ha moments, and learned from everyone who was there!I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to learn how to be the best partner you can be in your relationships. And this applies to all relationships!! We weren't sure what to expect at first, but by the end, we were so relaxed and deeply connected.
