This used to be a favorite place in the years past. Now the food quality has gone down a lot. Same menu as before, but everything tasted bad or bland. The French fries were the best - fresh, not frozen. Prices have skyrocketed, too. $140 for french fries, no drinks (only one beer). Please fix the food. This was a family favorite for many years. Service was ok and timely. They don't take reservations.

This place was recommended to us by a local. The food was good. What stood out though was our waitress. I wish I knew her name, but she was delightful, a breath of fresh air. We felt her zest for life and felt renewed by her. Thanks for passing on the difference of chips and crisps. We are smiling as I write this. We will carry our conversation and her smile with us. I noticed a few negative reviews yesterday. Our family has eaten and pubbed here often for the last 12 years. We have regularly had a great experience here. This is my happy place" on the hill. I understand the frustration of some yesterday's posts

We have been coming to SunPeaks for the past fifteen years and the first stop is the Cahilty Creek Kitchen and Tap Room! We enjoy the robust atmosphere and ordering from Aprè menu. Great staff and superb ski in,ski out location.Suzanne & Al

Enjoyed a great breakfast from here today! This place has a more upscale vibe. The menu was way better priced than my hotel/resort so I was thankful for that. The server was a very sweet girl, who was professional and good at her job. The kitchen was courteous and accommodating to our special requests/ dietary restrictions. They have a $5 happy hour menu each day that I def need to check out!

Alright - so I wasn't digging the restaurants in the main strip and saw this patio high above the parking area. I sat outside and it was lovely. The gentle giant burger is delish and they have some decent beers on tap. Go check it our- they're just outside the regular strip so I think they could use your patronage. Will go again before I head back to Vancouver.

Had us wait for an hour to be seated which was understandable as they were busy but by the end of the hour (close to the switch from a discounted menu) at least 5 tables were clear with 3 groups waiting. The kitchen was not backed up as the owner claimed as the kitchen staff came out to us and stated they had no idea why we were not being seated. The owner subsequently refused to serve us on the discounted menu despite waiting and being assured multiple times we would be. It was not the staffs fault but that of an incredibly greedy owner

First time to Sun Peaks from outside Seattle. Great spot off the beaten bath but just as walkable as any other restaurant in the Village. Food was fantastic and they accommodated a kids table for our group without hesitation. The pork belly appetizer was my favorite! Shayna was out server and so great with the kids. I forgot to place my appetizer order and they rushed it to get it out before dinner still. Will be back next season for sure!

The service was friendly, prompt, and efficient—it was perhaps the best service we’ve ever had, anywhere. The food was decent, and (relatively) reasonably priced; we ordered basic western dishes, but they had a few exotic (including Fried Jackfruit!) on their dinner menu. If you’re in Sun Peaks, and looking for a laidback dining experience, I highly recommend Cahilty’s.
