There food quality has degraded significantly over last 2 years. Their biryani tastes like pressure cooked khichdi and nothing more and appetizers have raw flavours of sauces.Few months back i ordered veg dum biryani which was totally rubbish and just like khichdi, i thot it might be a one time thing as it happens but today again i ordered avakai veg dum biryani and baby manchurian and both the items were utter disappointment.Sad to say that they have turned into a poor taste restaurant from a very good one.

Was a regular to this restaurant until last year ,stopped ordering food until today and highly disappointed with food and quality. The chicken biryani tastes like fish and they are not good any more like they used to be

Extremely disappointed with this location. Here are the reasons:1. Still using QR codes and you have to go the reception/bar area to place the order.2. No waiters/servers at this place but someone will bring the food out3. On the table there was a tap filled water bottle plastic cups and plastic plates with cutlery (some one is streamlining customer service) -cups smelled so bad coz they were upside down after washing and disgusting4. Ordered samosas that were frozen on the inside5. Biriyanis we’re good not great and for this price there are plenty of options in MississaugaDefinitely I would drive 30km to the location in Scarborough their food is fantastic! Service is excellent as well and doesn’t look dark and gloomy like this place. Staff didn’t charge me for the samosas since I sent them back and I feel bad for them coz the franchise owner must be trying to cut cost ! Would never never go again

Ordered takeout. Gongura chicken biryani was great. Special chicken dum biryani was good too!! Hariyali chicken and guntur paneer starters were good. Will visit again.

Scam alert!!!Don’t even fall for their combo offer! I ordered Monday combo pack - Chiken biryani + chicken pakode for 21.99$. This restaurant should really value money and be considerate about their portion level. There were only 7 very small pieces of fried chicken which tasted and smelled bad. It is definitely the old chicken. And biryani container was small and they added 1 leg quarters with 1/4 cup of rice which is not even enough portion for 1 adult. Completely waste of money! I have shared comparison of silver spoon portion with bawarchi one. Silver spoon costs 8.99$ with 1 leg quarter and enough portion for 2 adults.

I visited this restaurant with my friend today and felt disappointed with the food. This is our second time and the last time we visited was almost 1.5 years back. We came here based on a good experience we had last time. Today we ordered Panneer 555 , chicken Manchurian in starters and Panneer Veg Dum Biryani. Firstly, the Panneer 555 was too spicy than expected. The spice or chilli paste was too overpowering and we could feel the raw taste of heat as if panneer was sauteed in uncooked chilli paste with little to no salt. It was just uncomfortably spicy. Despite it being remade and served with shredded cabbage, we still couldn't eat it. Honestly, it could have been little manageable if it had been served with onion, lemon and coriander garnish. In most Indian restaurants, starters are served with some fresh salad and lemon to make it look more appealing. The chicken starter wasn't great either, just chicken tossed in readymade sauces and chilli paste.Secondly, the Panneer Veg Dum Biryani was like a Veg Dum Biryani with a Panneer gravy and it's pieces layered in between to make it look like Panneer Dum Biryani. It was very clear that Panneer was separately cooked and inserted in veg Biryani before serving. It was edible and no major complaints on how it tasted. But why fool the customer this way? On the whole, the experience was certainly bad and the restaurant must really work on how they prepare and serve. We didn't want to create a scene and hence decided to leave a feedback for the restaurant here. There are restaurants that really serve tasty Indian delicacies out in GTA and nobody would prefer to waste money for such a poor experience. The restaurant was not very busy to put the blame on the number of orders they had to serve. I truly hope you guys work on this feedback and ensure to do a taste check before serving.

The ambiance is excellent at Bawarchi and the service is very good. I found the ambiance relaxing and festive. The food quality is good and the Chicken Dum Biryani we ordered was sumptuous and delicious. If you are craving Indian cuisine, this is the place to be. You will not regret the experience!

We tried Chicken starter it was Spicy and tasted excellent. Vijayawada Chicken Biryani, Kadai Chicken curry and garlic butter Naan were excellent as well. Ended meal with Mango Lassi. Overall experience was great.
