Union Station Bus Terminal

Not a very good new design. Nobody works here and the entrance is very awkward for dropping off in a car.

Bus terminal 2nd door is opposite to scotia bank arena on ground floor under the Gardiner expressway.Go bus station + inside go bus premises Upstair terminal 8 and 9 is mega bus station too.check attach picture for guidance.in the map yellow i draw a yellow line from metro station line 1 to bus terminal.1st door is in CIBC square.

Clean and efficient; however, the interior design is a bit too bright for my tastes. Although the walking transfer time is longer, the nice amenities include heating and washrooms. I predict the line-ups will become very long since there's little direction of where to stand (you're essentially queuing in a pathway).

Very clean, new facility. The directions on the boards could be a little more detailed. The staffs knowledge of where the buses stop could be more accurate.

Located across from Union station Grand Hall, the updated GO bus station is modern and comfortable.The new terminal is easy to access and arrival/departure monitors are located throughout the area making for easy travel.

Great new bus station in Toronto. It has a very modern and stylish interior with seating, reload stations/ticketing areas washrooms and a bunch of bus companies that can take you across ontario and canada. The station is in a convenient area of the downtown core and has close access to scotiabank arena and union station.

A bit confusing but there are 2-3 levels of bus gates you have to keep in mind when in this area. No food places inside to pick up something on the go.

This terminal feels like an airport, upon entering you have a full departure board with different zones with their designated gates, which is like getting from one terminal to another in an airport. It's very well organized with ticket machines to purchase your bus fare, bathrooms and even a couple vending machines. I recommend arriving 10-12 minutes before your bus departs, because that's when your gate will be provided and you can line up to board the bus. All in all this is a great terminal, again it gives of an airport vibe but just lacking that of airplanes. It makes traveling on these busses very easy and it gives me peace of mind knowing that I can just grab a seat, relax and then board the bus.

Definite improvement from the old terminal. Brighter, accommodates more pedestrians, keeps pedestrians safe from buses, clear signs and gates.4 star as we're in a pandemic so haven't seen the station put to test. There's not many benches, again unsure if it's due to the pandemic.Finally Toronto has a decent station to match the times. An eye level sign board. Clearly states route and gate. When you get to the gate the screen shows all stops. No need to wait for scrolling text, no need for bus drivers to answer every passengers question about which stop the route makes.Also the gate doesn't open until the driver is ready to.Wide hallways inside, at least wider than the old station. Have to see how it handles a crowd when the pandemic is over.

This was my very first time at the NEW Union Bus Terminal and I had no trouble getting to where I needed to be.
