Ladies! Mel knows her stuff! She is sweet, funny and will make sure you leave happy! I am super super picky and in some cases almost opinionated lol I didn’t make it easy for her but she handles herself with grace and took the time to walk me through things when needed. She does an excellent job and has great products ! Come visit her ! She’s the best hands down !

The owner was very helpful! She recommended a product based off of a picture of my son's hair I showed her. The products worked wonders. This was the easiest brushing out of his hair in years! Beautiful and clean space. Melenie and her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable on all hair types. My daughters and myself have never left disappointed, that's why we travel over 80km one way to get our hair done by a trusted source...it's worth the drive to Barrie!

I started going here about 2020 last year and one thing I can say is that my confidence has been boosted because my only does my hair right every time by Mel and she has extremely good customer service. She also cares about the hair and recommends proper products and includes services like washing, blow drying, colour and treatments that will help flourish your natural hair! Unlike most hairstylist she pays attention to detail and make sure it’s done in the way that you want it. She works very hard and takes time and effort into her work. I would 100% recommended coming to sunset hair and beauty!

I've visited Melanie's store on several occasions. Not only is Melanie professional but goes out of her way to ensure you are completely satisfied with her services and products. She is accommodating and very knowledgeable on all things hair. Her store carries a wide range of products including wigs, plus braiding hair and hair prices are fair and competitive. I have 4C natural hair and she knows the right products to ensure it remains healthy and looks amazing. I absolutely recommend her services and store.
