Customer service is excellent and we can order cat food from Royal Canin if it's not available at the store.

I recently went into your store today and while browsing I witnessed a girl I know from Facebook named Renee-claude LeBlance being very rude to a young girl who was also working there. When I asked her for help she was also very rude towards me. I will no longer be purchasing from this place due to the horrible service.

Great passionate staff/owner, you can tell they care for most of their animals.However, I recommend them to get fewer rats, or to take better care of them. They were crammed in small closed off aquariums. I can just imagine the burning smell of the ammonia coming out of the non ventilated glass cages. They were visibly sick as they had porphyrin all around their eyes and nose.Also, hitting the birds beak to teach him not to bite will only teach him to be even more wary and agressive towards humans!

Always get great service the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The owner Sonia is simply amazing great big heart and truly loves our little fur baby, she is so gentle and caring with them. It's show's when you bring your fur baby there and he's all excited to see Sonia. Very pleased with the veriety of fish and the care of said fish. This is my go-to place for my fish and here's why;They know what they're talking about and are always willing to learn more about the fish. They also QUARENTINE thier fish, which is something my other petstore lacks in and it very much reflects in the quality of their fish.They also carry a bunch of reputable feed brands for rodents and fish.The budgies seem to be in excellant health and there's always an array of colours. I can't speak much for the other birds as I've not bought any others from there, but my white budgie is very sweet and playful and lively and I didn't see any sick budgies when I was picking.I would like to point out a few constructive critisims, though. Reguarding the care of the parrots in particular and that's their feed. I noticed that it's not the best and it's reflecting in their plumage. Ziggy's feathers are in tatters and I noticed that she's on a mainly seed diet, when it should be mainly high-quality pellets with other stuff offered here and there. Especially fresh veggies and a bit of fresh fruits. But I can understand having a fussy bird because I have 3 fussy parrots myself.Besides that I love this store. Their staff is very knowledgable and friendly, as is the owner himself who's in quite often.

We were there in Jan 2021 and saw tanks overfilled with mice. They were crawling all over each other and had no space and there were dead mice in the tanks. There had to be at least 50 mice in each tank and it was animal cruelty. We will never go back to this store. Don’t give them your business. Even if theses mice are destined to be food they should be housed properly.

Like everyone said, the staff are very nice. They have a good variety of items that I enjoy getting for my cavies and Syrian Hamster. There are a few issues. Number one, the parrot. Ziggy (correct me if that’s not their name) is a lovely macaw, but unfortunately his feathers are VERY unhealthy. You can see his skin. This is often caused by stress. You see, the cage Ziggy is in is meant for ferrets and chinchillas. Macaws, being a large bird needs a lot more space and enrichment to keep them busy. Also, most large birds like macaws and cockatoos need a LOT of attention from humans to keep them busy. Another thing to mention (which is an issue at other stores too) is that the mice were literally PACKED into the tank. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Mice are burrowing animals and need lots of space. As for the hamsters, they are solitary, and should be housed ALONE (solitary means they will fight eachother and cause injuries).Not speaking of that, wonderful selection of rodent and bird toys, also forage blends.

Was firefirm impressed when the owner spoke to us and said maybe we should train our dog better because it peed on a display that more than likely other dogs have peed on

The young ladies that work there are all very sweet and have good customer service! However, some are not very knowledgeable about what they are selling. Specifically regarding fish and reptiles.They have fair prices though. I support them when I can given their restrictive hours.I like to support local but there are a few issues with this establishment. Some sections are unorganised, crowded and dusty. The aquariums could use more attention. Some fish are placed together that shouldn't be together, some incorrectly labelled,...There's also their big Macaw Ziggy" that's been there in a small cage by the window for years... He clearly has some medical issues and shouldn't be kept there at all. I have already spoken to the owner about that and I'm sure others have to. Someone might respond to this review saying "they are looking for sanctuary for him" but that shouldn't take years... he is clearly stressed and plucks himself constantly. I tried to offer a solution but the owner(Sonia) became very defensive and upset. I was just trying to help.I'm not saying that because I don't think they care. I'm certain they have the best intentions for Ziggy and love him very much..."
