We have reliably used Ellison travel for many school trips to NYC (I think six by now). We have consistently found the company dependable and the staff outstanding in their commitment to problem solve, adapt our itinerary and take care of all the tiny details involved in a school sponsored trip.We have been wooed by competing travel companies over the years, but when it comes down to it we want the assurance of excellent customer care. We have had several situations where we have had to call our Ellison contact while we were in NYC for one reason or another, and every time without exception, the care and problem solving was just what we needed.A word on school trips: there is so much responsibility and due diligence placed now on organizers of school trips. I would caution anyone thinking of planning one to avoid the budget tour providers. For barely any more $$ you can have custom care from Ellison, the students can stay in safe and clean hotels, the meals are nourishing and the majority of the costs are included in the total price (including medical insurance). Also, should anything problematic happen to you or any of your trip participants that is the time when you will most need a reliable contact person (like the designate at Ellison) to help minimize the potential negative impacts of the situation. And if nothing goes wrong, you will return happy and whole having enjoyed a very well organized student trip! We give them five stars, outstanding professionalism and care.

I’ve booked several vacations with Ellison Travel & Tours from large all-inclusive trips with friends to our recent honeymoon in St. Lucia during Covid. Our agent, Beth, helped with all aspects of our trip including firsthand excursion, hotel and vehicle recommendations and checked in before, during and after - giving us guidance on the ever changing Covid rules.

Ellison travel is the best travel agency I’ve ever used. The team care about you and your holiday and go the extra mile to make your travel plans the best experience. Nothing is to hard or difficult for them - they take all of the burden off of you when it comes to process or paperwork, Covid rules to even travelling with pets. Great service and excellent staff. During Covid lockdowns we were forced to reschedule our trip to Peru multiple times. Not only did Gail manage to keep all the tours we wanted in place at no extra cost but she also dealt with the last minute flight changes and kept us appraised on testing requirements and the best places for us to go. We had an amazing hassel free trip!

Our trip to Ireland was great and our flight booking was without incident. We were disappointed, however, that we were not notified in advance about the tax free savings in Ireland. (ie: Horizon card). It wasn’t until 3/4 of the way through our trip did we find out that if you are visiting Ireland from outside of Europe that you can get reembursed the tax on almost everything you spend by submitting copies of your receipts at the airport before you depart. You might want to give people the heads up if they book a trip to Ireland (or anywhere in Europe?) as you can go online and register for this card in advance. Wish we would have known about this ahead of time. Otherwise, a great experience with Ellison.
