0ne of the best and the morden bistro near downtown Calgary.once you go in the interior ambience is next level.and food OMG it's a vast verities can miss any usine in menu and food is like 5 star levels a definite definite a d go again place.

We used BlackSalt for our wedding catering. Food was amazing. They were able to accommodate special dieting needs and were very flexible about how many people we needed the food for up until a few days before the event. The roasted veggie sliders and samosas were the star of the dining experience. Portions were more than plenty. They were also able to make a special East Indian dish for the wedding which was a huge hit with everyone!Definitely will be using their services again for future events or even small parties.

Cashier seemed almost uninterested in taking our order. Didn't acknowledge us for about 5 minutes. And waited another 5 min before taking my friend's order. Once he communicated he seemed confused by basic statements like I would like to use cash" or "Can I have the fries with that?" Like he had no clue what is on his menu.Cheesecake was.. not great. My friend couldn't have more than a bite. The Saskatoon Berries were turned.My sandwich with marinara did not in fact have that. It was just a bunch of peppers loosely chopped with tomato bits.The kitchen gal was sweet though. Least she acknowledged us as we left."

We had our wedding reception dinner and got compliments all night about how delicious the food was! They did an incredible job on the food, set up and take down, we didn’t have to worry about a thing all evening. The whole process was amazing, very quick responses and all my questions answered. They helped with all dietary needs and request with no problems!Super friendly, professional and easy going staff. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you again for being apart of our beautiful day!

What a GEM!! A local spot, thoughtfully created and operated by two Chefs. The menu has everything that you're craving and it's perfect everytime. Breakfast, take out, late evening dinner ... If you need great food, just stop in to BlackSalt.

I went to dine-in for dinner here, and was impressed by the variety of food available on the menu. Both staff members I interacted with were friendly, and I had a very enjoyable experience. The interior was also nice.The food was flavorful and tasty, and I would recommend eating here. Particularly good if you and your dining party may not all be wanting the same type of food.

Thank you BlackSalt for catering our event on such short notice! The food was delicious (pork tenderloin and truffle mac and cheese were fan favs). Ordering was easy and your team was very accommodating. The food showed up piping hot and the portions were more than generous.

We liked that they have wide range of menu, from breakfast plate to curry & naan, they also have baked goods.we tried steak sandwich with yam fries, mushroom soup, lamb curry with butter naan and chicken wings. Yam fries were really good, the curry was also delicious! The service was amazing, they took such a good care of us, we had great experience.
