Monastery Spa and Medispa

Excellent experience from the time we walked through the entrance. We were greeted by a friendly smiling face who checked us in quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious, modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The night staff was extremely curtious, friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff we met were friendly. The cafe was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff at the cafe made me feel like I was the only person there. Super friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Monastery Hotel. We will definitely be going back!

Booked a much needed Therapeutic Massage. My massage therapist was Stephanie M. and she was fantastic. I had a lot of tense muscles when I arrived, but not when I left. Stephanie communicated what needed to be done and what she was doing as the appointment progressed. She also clearly communicated what I needed to do as after care. If you are looking for a smooth process and a great massage, definitely book here. I would have no second thoughts on booking again.

Friendly staff with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. I was at the spa yesterday for the first time. I received a prenatal massage, I felt so comfortable being there. They have the proper prenatal table which helped relieve the pressure of the baby while receiving the massage. I haven’t had any of the other services, only the massage (as of now). Although, I am planning on returning.

Booked a facial and Indian head massage combo for myself and my mom for her birthday about 3 months in advance. Got to the Spa only to find out they had messed up our reservation and only took down my mom’s name for the appointment… turned what would’ve been a lovely birthday treat into a bit of a disappointment. Very disappointed

I went to the Spa for a hot stone massage and the stones were not hot. In fact, at most I would describe them as lukewarm. The hot towel used to remove the oil from my skin was hotter then the stone. I often questioned if I was being massaged by the therapist’s hand or the stone. The stones are typically very hot, which is part of the experience, but that was not what I received, nor what I paid for. When your front reception asked me about my experience I described my service as a “relaxation massage that occasionally included lukewarm stones”. While she assured me she would pass my feedback onto the manager, but, disappointingly I have heard nothing. I waited 24 hours and when I still heard nothing I sent an email. It’s now been 3 days and I have still heard nothing. When a legitimate complaint about a service is ignored and treated by radio silence it speak volumes. I used to think the Spa at the Monastery prided itself on a high quality customer experience but clearly now they prefer to bury their head in the sand instead of trying to “make it right”.

Booked an appointment for my granddaughter & I for mani & pedi, when I gave my name she said our appointment was for an hour earlier & they didn’t have a phone number there to confirm our booking.When I made the appointment I gave full name & phone number & wrote down the time as I was talking to them. Told me we could get one service or the other done but not both.After more discussion they said they could fit us in, well what a rush job & our polish was peeling off before we left there & the side of my nails had no polish on 4 of them. . I had gel done but was never put under the drying lampAsked to see a manager & was told she wouldn’t be back in until the new year so I asked fir a contact number fir her & was given a piece of paper with her email scratched on it so bad that I couldn’t read what was in it.Worst service ever, what a waste of $240 will never go back there again.

The building itself is beautiful and charming. My massage by Amber was nothing short of amazing. The aromatherapy wasn't strong or overpowering, and by the time she was done my body felt like a puddle of warm wax. Even my neck lost a lot of it's kinks. Would definately recommend.

Best massage I have ever had! I have a lot of back/neck pain and they did an amazing job with working it out. I have been getting massages for years, and this was the most relaxing yet.
