All Weather Windows - Winnipeg

Josh came and fixed my window yesterday. He did an awesome job! They were fast, showed up when they said they were coming, didn’t make a mess and everything looks great. Thanks Josh.

2020-09-03 At approx 8 AM I went to All Weather Windows in Winnipeg to obtain some small plastic clips which retain the small metal rod which is integral to the locking/unlocking lever mechanism on one of my windows. The clips had deteriorated with age so not a quality issue. I got to the front entrance only to find a sign that employees were working remotely with a ph.# to call. This was of little use to me as I had already driven to the location and when I called the # the message said that I would be responded to within 24 hours. As I returned to my vehicle I noted a service truck for the company parked next to me and I wondered if the operator might soon depart for calls. I waited no more than 5 minutes when an All Weather Windows Tech approached his truck and instead of ignoring me and getting into his truck he asked if he could help. I gladly inquired as to whether he might have some of the clips I needed in his truck and he quickly retrieved several from his truck box and gave them to me. I then asked if it might be possible to obtain a couple of screws as I would be working to replace the clips on the outside and a dropped screw was never going to be found. He did not have any but went to his shop and obtained a couple which he also gave me. THIS SERVICE MAN WHOSE NAME I CAN'T REMEMBER WAS FANTASTIC. I can't thank him enough for his kindness and great customer service - which by the way I have been getting from AWW for the minor things which occur since my windows were installed about 15 years ago. Thanks a million.

I purchased an all weather window and within a year one of the panes cracked for no apparent reason. Excellent communication and service from their representative. They ordered the new glass under warranty and contacted me when the glass was available for pickup. Seamless.

Had one window that had a failing seal after 14 years. Didn't know anything about my windows except for that they were from aww. Stuart Swanson helped me find the exact age, size make and model of the window by tracing back when they were manufactured. He was also able to find how much warranty I had left as well as helping me order the replace window pane! I can confidently say All Weather Windows have a great product and stand behind there product! Will definitely be buying from them in the future!

* UPDATE: After a week of posting my review and getting an answer (damage control) almost immediately from All Weather’s PR department saying that my comments would be passed onto the Winnipeg office to contact me as this is not the level of customer service they strive for…still crickets.THIS COMPANY IS DOG$HIT for existing customers. The PR department provides lip service to the bad reviews as a false front. I still have not heard back from an actual representative who can actually correct the issue that was caused by All Weather.*I WILL KEEP UPDATING MY REVIEW…GOOD or BAD.We purchased a new build and the builder uses All-Weather Windows and Doors. We have been in our home for 3 years and the window in our door had already sprung a leak between the window panes. After contacting (through email as no one there wants to talk to an existing customer on the phone) All Weather to come and replace the defective glass panes, they gave us a date and we had to pay for the labour.The replacement work was done. The inside new pane got left with two big scratches and the technicians also scratched our front door (which is painted). I then emailed All Weather with pictures and a detailed description of the deficiencies. Nothing but crickets for over three weeks…no reply whatsoever!All Weather Windows is absolutely awful with existing customer service requests. They were decently quick to respond when they could make money on the replacement of the door pane (labour charge). But now that I need them to come and replace the panes and repair the damage they caused to our front door…radio silence for over a month.This is not acceptable.

I purchased a townhouse from A&S Homes at Park West Drive 18 months ago . Windows were installed by All Weather Windows . Few days ago glass in the window in living room has a crack . Contacted A&S Homes , they contacted All W .W ... This is their respond :Unfortunately, cracked glass has a one year warranty only. Brenda would be happy to quote for a replacement glass and labor, however it would not be until late May (possibly June) for an appointment.Worst Warranty ever !!! No inspection , no call , just advise :Brenda did advise that you could contact any local glass retailer to quote to supply and install- they would be quicker and likely less expensive. You could try Security Glass, Fort Rouge Glass or Speedy Residential.DO YOU THINK , PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS ? I CANNOT FIND OUT HOW TO Solve THE PROBLEM ???

We built a beautiful new home 11 years ago and all our windows and doors came from All weather. We had lots of problems with doors not fitting well and during the winter there was ice build up inside the house along the doors. Every time I complained they said they would send someone out and they did...but each time it was someone inexperienced who did nothing but tighten a screw. I was told that we had frost build up because we lived along the river. I checked with the neighbours...no one else had this problem. I was told I needed storm doors. I was told that the humidity was too high in our house. With a dehumidifier we dried out our hardwood and all had symptoms because of the dryness. I contemplated going to small claim court but did not have the time or energy. My solution was to call Polar and have the doors replaced. Since doing this we have had no further problem with frost build up. We also have a horizontal crack in a window in our sunroom (it was there immediately after installation) but the company would not replace it. So far it has not caused a problem. The reason I send this review so long after the fact is that once again we have had problems with one of the doors that was not replaced. Our door going into the garage has never closed properly and if the latch is adjusted then there is a gap at the top. One is fooled into thinking the door is closed and of course, once again our alarm system went off because a draft caused the door to open. I am once again calling Polar and this door is finally getting replaced as well. I would not recommend this company unless the product has drastically improved over the past 10 years.

Broke a handle on window the previous home owner had installed about 15 years ago. Emailed the company and they responded within 24 hours with a correct picture of the replacement. Sent me to the Winnipeg office who gave me a replacement free of charge along with helpful tips for installation and operation. Fabulous customer service.

* Update 2023-07-06: After reading another recent review, I feel compelled to say I am experiencing the same challenges with customer service. I have now reassessed my rating from 2/5 stars to 1. After a lengthy process of sorting out the replacement glass warranty, I made the order and received it. 100% payment was required as an FYI. The sealed units arrived with the wrong colour of grille in the glass. I raised this right away with AWW. It has been over a month with several follow ups and a request to raise this with a manager, all being unanswered. Still hoping they will contact me and resolve this satisfactorily, but I'm losing hope.I really don't enjoy giving such a poor review, but I think customer beware if proceeding with AWW.*Original ReviewAfter 15 years, more than 75% of the seals on our windows in our house have gone making them fog. They provide prorated warranty so they will replace the glass for 50% off (off list that is) and I need to pay for install. The process of getting new glass spec'd out has been painful with dozens of back and forth emails where they can't seem to get it right.
