Dr Cribb is the best kept secret of medicine in Kamloops. She always goes the extra mile to find solutions for any of my medical problems. Her office nurse ,Diane , is also attentive, caring and encouraging. Office is always clean. Other staff in the facility are all pleasant.

An older female Dr. here whom I'm sure i cannot name for possible legal reasons is the shining star at the top of the failing mental health system.

Dr. Shirley Van Der Merwe is a family doctor at this facility. She has been prescribing me Percocet for back pain for years. On Friday Nov. 23 2018 she abruptly ceased prescribing these opioids to me in spite of the scientific research delineating dangers of going ‘cold turkey.’I had told her I was in extreme pain, had been suicidal the past 3 days, and filled out a questionnaire she gave me regarding my pain. I filled it out and it clearly showed I was in excruciating pain.I told my doctor I had been vomiting the last couple days, but that I need to be strong for my young children. She listened to all I said, then said I do not look like she wants someone in excruciating pain to look, therefore I must be selling my Percocet. She accused me, with absolutely no proof, that I am selling my pills.I said I would take a blood test which would show Percocet in my bloodstream.I wrote all this as I cannot take the pain and hope she will be held accountable when I am gone
