Budget Car Rental

Don't rent from here if you value your life. Rented a Toyota minivan to travel in the mountains of BC. For starters it stunk and was dirty. The vehicle had close to 70000 km on it and had snow tires on in the summer. Upon our first decent in the mountains and trying to slow the van started shaking because the brakes were so bad. Just got worse and worse every decent, very scary. By this time we were too far from the rental office at the airport to return it so had to carry on. Had to limit our travel during our vacation as the vehicle was unsafe. Upon returning the van I explained the problem and they just brushed it off as if it was not that big a deal, no refund, nothing, don't rent from Budget!

Pay attention to the poor ratings for Budget Kelowna Airport, there is a reason. Shady upsell, overcharged from what was promised and horrible customer service. They don’t care about customers, only care about making more money off of them. Paid 2x what we booked. Rented earlier in the same week from Enterprise Kelowna airport and it was a completely different experience. Excellent service, recommend Enterprise and will never use Budget again.

Got car for rent from budget. It was the first time had best experience from them. Bruce suggested us many options to travel around the city. He took extra time to give us the best customer service.Highly recommended

You're better off booking with someone else. If you book a mystery car, they will give you an economy car instead of a compact or better.

I need help and advise.We rented a car from budget in Kelowna a week ago. We returned the car 100% safe with no damage. 3 days later, the agent calls us and surprises us with a claim for windshield. How in the world you can put this claim on us when we are sure that it never happened when the car was with us.This is just not acceptable.Unbelievable!!!!Is this a new way you guys are trying to make money!? Not right! Sham on you!This service has been just horrible. Lesson learned. No more renting with you guys.

Booked budget car rental a day before my trip, they offered me the lowest rate compared to others. The car was ready when I was landed to Kelowna and it took them only 5 mins to hand over me the car. Drop off was easy too, it was overall satisfactory experience. Will definitely use them again in my next trip.

Worst business I have dealt with. They provided a faulty car with low tire pressure. When we brought the car back to address the issue, their staff topped it up and told us to come back to swap the car the next day. The vehicle was swapped but days after, Budget charged us extra ~$450 for a tire replacement, loss of use, and admin fees.

Most car rental places leave lots of room for improvement in the customer service section, however, last night we had a great experience at Kelowna Airport Budget. Colby Walsh was super polite, professional and happy to help. We were on the last part of her shift and she treated us awesome, really impressed. Thanks again, you’re an asset to this branch!

We had a very good experience with Budget at Kelowna airport. We rented a gps but it was left in Spanish mode. Evan was extremely helpful and fixed the problem and also explained some of the car functions to us.. big pat on the back to Evan. Staff at front desk were also courteous and helpful.

Want to give a shout-out to Todd! Last week, my friends and I arrived in Kelowna for a trip to Revelstoke. We told Todd that we were worried about the variable weather/road conditions. Todd explained the route, what to expect along the way, and put us in the right cars to get us there safely and comfortably. Rarely do you come across a rental agent as knowledgeable, patient, and extraordinarily friend as Todd.
