Darby Photos

Our soccer club used Darby Photos for our photo day in October 2020 and they have been doing it for our club for many years. This year is more challenging but Paul and his crew rise up to the occasion. Their Covid-19 protocol was clear and communicated well in advance prior to the event.The photo session was great, well organized, on time and everyone is happy. The panoramic photos was a great revision for the team photos. Highly recommended to any group/club/association photo session.Paul is so easy to work with we hope that they will be back working again soon. See you again next year.

Incredible service, highly recommend. We used Darby photos this year for the first time for our Football League and were very impressed with the service, quality and communication. They took care of everything, it was super simple for everyone and they did a fantastic job with the kids. We have individual pictures and group team pictures and they way they got the teams to quickly assembly was remarkable. Highly recommend Darby for your photo needs!

Fantastic customer service! Months after photos were taken and issued, one family advised that they lost or never received their photos. I looked everywhere in a massive panic but to no avail. I reached out to Darby as a long shot and within minutes they responded that they still had the photo AND they would be happy to send it directly to the family. It was truly appreciated. You can't get back these childhood moments and thankfully now this family has this image captured to trigger memories of a fantastic season! Thank you so much!

Just got my sons soccer photos taken. He’s a little guy. The fellow organizing the kids (Darren) was quite rude. All I wanted was to tell my son to smile. But instead I was told in a rude tone to move away from anywhere near the tent. Keep in mind I understand there busy doing 1000s of photos. Also I understand the procedure. But in all fairness I wan no where near the photo tent nor was I distracting the photographer or player who’s photo was being taken. This is truly quit disrespectful since I’m paying for my picture it’s not free so I don’t know why I was treated rude in front of my kid. Not professional at all.

We have had Darby run our league photo day for several years and always have been happy with the service and amazed by the speed of turnaround in receiving the photos.We were hesitant to run photo day this year due to the pandemic and on-going restrictions but Paul assured me that they'd implemented protocols to keep everyone safe.Photo day was a breeze as usual! Photographers and assistants had masks, shields and sanitizer, kids used their own bats and gloves to pose with and they ensured everyone stayed spaced out during the process. They adapted their offerings to provide an individual momento photo to each child (instead of a team photo) and I love that they offered us the option to choose our photos from proofs online. No messy paperwork!We highly recommend the Darby Photos team for your next league or association photo shoot.

EDIT to add: It was a lock of hair jutting out from the side of her head, not a “few stray hairs.” Minimizing my concerns in your response feels like marketing rather than sincerity. As I already responded in my email, our attempt to get a better photo was the retake, which should be taken with extra care knowing most of the students are doing it because they were not satisfied with their initial photo. The first thing I asked was why she kept the sweatshirt around her waist for the retake, to which she responded it all happened in such a rush that she did not realize it was there. I tried to find a way to contact you through the ordering site to reach out personally, but could not find the contact, which is why I posted a review. I do appreciate the attempt to touch base, and will change my rating accordingly.School photos - first time her hair was sticking up, but there was no mirror and the photographer didn’t tell her. For the retake she was rushed out, had a sweater tied around her waist, but she didn’t know where to put it and was so rushed she just kept it on. Bought the bare minimum because I had similar problems last year and did not purchase, but they want to have a “school photo.” As a photographer, it’s important to ensure your client looks their best.

Excellent experience with Darby Photos! I've had several photos done for my kids through various team sports. The photos always turn out so well and they manage to capture the perfect smile every time! As a division coordinator for baseball, I only heard great things from the 80 families in our division.
