Awesome food, great drinks, TOP NOTCH service! This is truly an authentic Mexican restaurant in every sense of the word! Our server, Mauricio was amazing and made our evening very enjoyable. The private covered back patio was perfect for our dining party. I can't recommend this place enough. This will be our go-to for Mexican food from now on. No others in the area come close to comparison!

I came here with a friend last night, and the team at Original's completely nailed it!. A lady at the next table was coughing like crazy!! So I asked the lovely young hostess if she could find me another two top away from the cougher. The hostess quickly dashed to a table and got it ready for me. The crew are very accommodating and very very friendly!!.My friend and I got the cafe de olla and it was delicious!!. The food came and it was a smash hit!!. The soup my friend has was like the soup I used to have back home!!..and the enchiladas I got had MOLE that tastes legit and AUTHENTIC..this team doesn't mess around with good quality and flavor. DEFINITELY COMING BACK FOR MORE!!!.

My wife and I stopped in for a last minute dinner plan. Really cool place and atmosphere. It's in an old house so at first you wonder if you're at the right place.Our server was awesome! They were really busy so food took a bit to come but our server got us more fresh chips which was awesome.Food quality and taste was impeccable. Probably the best enchiladas I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Food and drinks were authentic and yummy. Plus the ambience of the patio is quite nice. Seems like a family run place, so make sure you aren't in a huge rush, as food and drinks do take a little time.

I have a lot to unload here and not for the good reasons. Here are the facts:1. Initial service: I got there without a reservation, so I was asked to wait while they get their outside seating ready. This took about 10-15 minutes. When I finally sat down, I sat down the server for menu recommendations but she wasn't really knowledgeable with the menu. Most of the servers seemed to lack training.2. Missed order: Our appetizers came soon enough, but the server forgot to check in our mains. I flagged down the server 3 times before they finally realized my main order wasn't entered into their POS. After getting my appetizers, I waited about 45 minutes before finally getting the main. The server brought over 2 free beers for me and my friend as their apology.3. Mice: We saw a mice casually hanging around in the outside shack. Just chilling and doing its own thing. The outdoor turf they had for the ground is hard to clean, which I imagine would attract critters.4. Outside shack: I highly doubt this shack passed safety checks. It was raining heavily that day, and there was rain spraying onto our table. The ground is slanted and had our table rocking.5. Pricing: For a mid-tier restaurant in random Port Moody, they're priced like a semi upscale restaurant in Vancouver. The food is decent, but both food and drinks are about 15% too expensive, plus with the untrained servers and the poor ambiance, the restaurant offers an overpriced experience.Overall, I won't go again and I was quite disappointed. I don't think I'd recommend anyone to go.

We wanted to try this place as it has 4 stars in google.Having been to Mexico, we expected a lot from this place.We ordered Chillaquilles and Baja Style Fish Taco.Waiting time for our food was an hour.When our food arrived, the portions were really small for the price of it.My taco was falling apart as well. It would be better if they doubled the tortillas.
