This is one of my favorite health food stores where I shop once or twice a month. The aisles are well stocked, clean and they have plenty of cashiers at check out. On this particular trip, I was looking for specific herbal teas, powders and supplements. I also picked up some organic coconut milk, coconut cream, avocado crisps, dairy free yogurt, and organic almond butter. I find the prices are quite reasonable and lower than most other stores.

First time at Ambrosia. Was in the area so decided to see what products they carry.Items are well organized, store is clean, cashiers are efficient, floor staff are helpful and there are so many unique products and brands. Lots of variety to choose from on health care, groceries, snacks, etc.We bought organic gummy’s for Easter. They come in individual smaller bags so great for kids or when on the go. They are not too sweet and a bit less chewy than regular gummies. Flavour is good too. Would buy again and visit this store again.

Usually has the best price compared to other GTA health food stores. Great selection, clean, organized. Has gotten better over the years, but the area is more dense now, so I try to avoid going on the weekends when it's busy. Stock up on some good stuff from the monthly sale flyer, especially around the winter holidays! I've gotten deals on celestial seasonings and stash tea, raw or chocolate covered nuts, boxes of organic soup, frozen faux meats, etc. Still has a decent bulk section as well, helpful if you like to try less common types of flour or whole grains. If you like natural" or organic dairy

I went to this store and found vendor associates helpful in finding some items but the cashier didn’t say any word such as greeting or anything that show customer appreciation. In truth, her body language and face was so annoying and offensive. I am shameful to say that I recognized her as an Iranian same as my origin origin. I hope management of the store could train them how to greet and appreciate customers and also how to be gentle with others.

Went to buy a supplement - took note of the price only because I was trying to see if I can find a better price elsewhere. At the cash, the item rang in at a higher price; once I alerted the cashier and she talked to her manager, they said “fine we will give it to you for the tag price” without offering a discount at the very least!! Very rude manager and poor customer service. Really disappointed.

I really like the store and picked up the Golden Guernsey milk, along with organic rye flour, dead sea salt, and alkaline water. The store was conveniently situated on Doncaster road close to Steele and Yonge St. The staff was friendly, and each aisle is nicely arranged. I was surprised that the specialty milk was nicely priced. Very pleased with the visit.Update: Today, the staffs were just so so, they were more concerned about having a conversation than helping out their customers.

Enjoy picking up fresh organic vegetables, greens, nuts and seeds here amongst other things for past 15 plus years. Wild salmon, organic chicken and other meats of interest. Their monthly promotions are always worthwhile buys with steep savings. Even with Whole Foods now nearby, I still continue to venture to Ambrosia for my groceries. In addition to their broad food selection, they also have good environmentally minded cleaning supplies and biodegradable products for use in the kitchen. Ambrosia has always felt cozy. Their floor staff has never disappointed, always eager to help, assist and provide their knowledge and/or pull someone in that can help. Very personable. Lots of value received by shopping here. Picked up a salt glow lamp, wonderful soft glow. Love it here! Thank you Ambrosia for offering such great selections and variety. Always a treat to drop by. Fun!Life is Good! :)

Had a horrible experience. First the odough's white loaf stocked in shelves was expired so i notified the staff about it. Then i got home and turns out that the aidan's pitas i bought although not expired; had green mould on the pitas. This store has a serious quality control problem and i will never buy from ambrosia again.

Unfortunately, this grocery store used to be a must-buy-from for me. They occupied this store with rude staffs who act like watchdogs. Ambrosia Holds the meaning of Goddess of rich food, but the way they run it is nothing but representation of cheapness. Plus, their products are old.

Huge disappointment, rude staff, horrible environment, gossip from the people who work there, condescending supplement people, and overall horrible new people work at this location. Not only do I consistently get low quality products, I find the woman named Sara at the nutrition location of this branch so horrible and rude. You need to learn manners and management. Lazy staff and lazy store... this woman consistently gives poor customer service and a judgmental eye every time my family and I shop in person. My kids and my husband have picked up on tis too. Just a horrible horrible experience with staff over the years.. we don't need your horrible and unhelpful nutrition advice, you're not a doctor or ND with your horrible grandiose persona, just do your job. This store's quality and management has gone down since covid. It's trash. We used to go with the fam and now won't ever stop by. There are better online shops that cost less and are more effective at doing their job, and we don't have to deal with the BS from the workers and a bad business model at this disappointing corporation... other locations have the same terrible staff and management issue. This brand is showing their true colours after many years…. Won’t go, won’t recommend. avoid this place.
