Amazing people, a cornerstone of the neighbourhood and locally owned and operated. Great music, and simply the best nachos in the city, hands down. Awesome low price lager all the time is like the icing on the cake.

Cool and fun atmosphere. It's kind of a theme bar. If you like metal and rock music u would like it. Amazing nachos, but cray expensive. They have some interesting nacho falvours. Must try! I had the smaller size nacho with guacamole added and it was $28. Seems steep to me! You do get a decent amount, enough for 2 people if your not that hungry. U do end up with a decent amount with no toppings when u get thru it so i feel like it should be cheaper or layered a little better. The large size is like $34, haven't seen what that looks like, but I assume it is massive and feeds twice as many peeps. Give it a go

Despite not being a huge fan of metal, I like the place. This is the second time I come and would highly recommend their chucky’s cheese!!

This place is really so awesome and love the food served in a cast iron frying pan. Staff so cool and always killer music there. I always have a good time there and great drinks! - 2021 ownership changed and food is now 1/2 then what it was before great place for a beer tho.

Cool decor, cozy layout, really good food, and chill servers.Music was a little loud so you had to yell a bit for conversation, and could have been better with more variety. It was 90% speed metal while we were there. While the menu promised Black Sabbath.

Staff is friendly! Small little bar where the locals go, it can get a bit warm there during the hot days (which I'm sure isn't very often) one of my drinks melted the ice right off and then it tasted really watered down heh. Nachos definitely hit the spot!

Great food! Good sized portions and quite healthy variety of vegetables with the wake and bake chicken and beef brisket classic skillets. Love the inner decor as well! Cats and dogs galore if you're sitting in the back corner or in the washroom

Good food & great service, but a bit sketchy neighborhood.Do not walk here from downtown.Veggie burger comes lumberjack sized, so bring your appetite! Delicious and gargantuan.Baptized in Beef sandwich was excellent. Superb jus with plenty of horseradish.Drinks were well made.Heavy metal music seems the norm here.

Jackalopes Neighbourhood Dive
Awesome place! Brought some friends here and they loved it - the theme, the music, the space. Restaurant staff were attentive and checked in with us often. The “Coop of the Damned” appetizer plate had very delicious BBQ items and the Nachos had an excellent mix of cheese on different layers (not just the top). There’s street parking right out front at a reasonable rate (a buck an hour). Definitely recommended and will visit again.
