Bought a mango cake to surprise my mother for her birthday. My whole family loved it! We devoured the cake within minutes.

I purchased a dozen of cheese rolls and a dozen of the assorted ensaymada.I tried the cheese roll, classic, and salted egg ensaymada.The cheese roll was a bit dry, and it wasn’t as cheesy as I expected it to be.The classic ensaymada was nice and soft, but it was also a bit dry for my liking. I feel like the topping to bun ratio was off. It left me wanting for more buttercream/cheese topping to help with the dryness of the bun.The SALTED EGG ensaymada though…. Wow. What a winner! I think this is the best flavour so far. It had just the right amount of topping to bun. Gosh, okay, taking it back. Next time I’m going to get two dozen of these!My interactions with Martha went smoothly. She was very pleasant to talk to and she responded quickly over email.

I am a regular customer, and Heritage Baking never disappoints! All of their pastries are delicious, but my personal favourites are their matcha cookies, and ham & cheese gourmandise.

If you can find them at a market, head over! Everything they make is delicious.

Mouth watering. Jaw dropping. Life changing. The pastries are reasonably priced but it is worth every penny. The ensaimadas are amazing, the gourmandise are excellent, and the cruffins never cease to amaze. I am a repeat customer and look forward to my trips to the farmers market to try their goods.
