I've been ordering from this restaurant for many years and I've slowly see a decline it the food portions, and its not so much the food but the over all quality and portions. I ordered a week ago to find the increase in cost and the containers that the food are coming in are very much smaller than they use to be. very disappointed in $100 order with tip to find it didn't even feed 5 people. use to be the best place in the Grove, now i doubt i will order from there again. Still best egg rolls though.

Best take out that I have had in a long time. Good quality ingredientsThey give you fresh food the first time and after that, look out. The take out that I got tonight was disgusting. Some old dried up rice with some soya sauce on it. The rest wasn't much better. You just lost a customer and I will spread the word. I took a picture of my food and I will advertise for you.

Definitely is showings it's age but I love supporting local owners who continue to price right and make delicious food. Had Chinese food the first time and a Rainbow Burger the second time and both were amazing. Worth going and eating at.

First time there, really delicious food topped off by extremely friendly staff. I had the house special that came with soup....the soup was bacon and bean and it was to die for!! I truly believe the next time I go there I'll only have the soup, not saying the special wasn't good because it was fantastic but for me the soup was the star!! Sorry but I devoured the soup without getting a picture!!

I must admit, been a really long time since I’ve been to Rainbow Palace restaurant. I was there a couple of days ago and had breakfast, excellent. And I went the next day and had Chinese food, excellent again.

WONT BE BACK!!!!My family gave this place 3 attempts. 1st visit the quality of food compared to price was pretty weak. 2nd visit, food was fair quality. 3rd and most recent visit was terrible and we will not be returning our business to this restaurant! Chicken fried rice had numerous small bones in it (which lucky enough our young child caught while chewing), fried rice was so loaded with soy sauce it was dark brown, garlic dry ribs tasted nothing like garlic and pretty sure they were previously frozen out of a package, green onion cakes were hard as a rock, did not receive the dipping sauce as stated on menu and they tasted like batter only. Veggies in chow mein taste like dirt. For $73, inconsistent poor quality after 3 visits and food not ready when stated, my family will no longer order from this place!!! Good luck to others that try their luck here. To all you people that give this place 5 stars, obviously have no idea what good food tastes like!

Rainbow Palace Restaurant
My husband and I went there for the first time last Friday. Everything was perfect, from the fantastic service we had from Janice (who we thought was the owner) excellent food and cleanliness. We will be back, that is for sure!!!
