The ambiance was really nice. The service that we had received was great. Food was really good. We had ordered some apps and steak. The app portions are small. Price is higher than a local Keg.

I had dinner at Baton Rouge with my family on Boxing Day. I had the Sante Fe chicken and everyone else had ribs. I was disappointed with the chicken because it was burnt but the ribs were good. Overall, the food and service were acceptable but not great.

Great atmosphere and plenty of spots to sit. The staff are friendly and quick to come around for your needs. Food was okay. We ordered different steaks are they were all pretty rough and chewy. All three. But other that that it was good.

I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance on OpenTable making a note that I had 4 adults and a baby needing accommodations for a stroller/ car seat. Someone called me and told me they weren’t able to accommodate the stroller but can for the car seat, which is totally fine. I reconfirmed with them stating that I would need a booth big enough for 4 adults and the baby in a somewhat quieter area. They reassured me that indeed I would be accommodated. When I got to the restaurant yesterday, the hostess told me they thought it was 4 people including the baby and said next time when I make reservations on OpenTable, I should put 5 people including the baby because they can’t see the notes unless they click into it. Which is bogus to me because I spoke to someone over the phone and made sure they knew. The hostess proceeded to take me to the smallest and worse table, the table she sat us at I saw were for tables of 2. She asked another staff to pull up a chair on the side of the table and said the 4th adult can sit there. Not only was the table small, she sat us at the busiest area where the waitstaff brings out food, and 2 meters away from our table were the restrooms. I was already very upset about our table, but our bad experience didn’t end there. We ordered our drinks and it took forever. Our appetizer also took over an hour to come out. The food was very mediocre, the only good thing was the seafood tower. The seafood linguine and steak was very bland. We asked for medium rare, but our steaks came medium. Service was terrible. We asked for more water and napkins 3 separate times but they never brought us any. When we finished our appetizers, no one came to clear the table, so when our entrees came there was no room for them to put the food. Asking for the bill also took a very long time, I understand it was Father’s Day and it was busy, but that just wasn’t it. I would never come back and do not recommend anyone to come here.

Ordered from set menu. Comes with an app, main and dessert. Pitcher of white sangria was good. Steak was decent and was a bit more charred compared to the Keg. Cheesecake for dessert yum. Overall food was pretty good but probably prefer the steak at the Keg.

In short good food horrible service. Me and my partner decided to choose Baton to celebrate our anniversary. Starting off we got seated in a very loud area. It wasn’t possible to relocate, and then we meet our main problem of the night Tim our waiter. He was very cold and seemed like he didn’t want to serve us. I first thought he is having a bad day, but then I saw how he happily treated the people next to us. It was very sad how his attitude and tone ruined our evening. He didn’t check up on is but he did to the table next to us. I can say that the service at other steakhouses like Keg or Chop was 8/10, at Baton it was 2/10. Today proved that no matter how good the food is the service is a very important piece to make the evening special. In addition I requested in the reservation to include a candle on my partners cake, which was not done, but was done to the table next to us. At that point I wanted to call the manager, but didn’t want to cause a scene. The front desk confirmed that we should have gotten a candle but Tim didn’t help me make the surprise come to life. I am very disappointed with the service and will not be returning to Baton.

Visited on a week day dinner. Started with a lady who guided us to the table. She clearly did not want to be there; other people in the group agreed when I jokingly made a comment. I ordered prime rib in medium rare, and received it in at least medium well and it was the worst prime rib i've ever tasted. The waitor told me its the only available one that is closest. To chef/manager: do not offer something on menu if you only have some stale meat. I ate without much complaint as I was with family and did not want to ruin the vibe. The waitor did try to make up for it hence the extra star. It was a quiet night but it was also so hard to get hold of anyone. Overall it was not a great experience, and not sure of I'll try Baton Rouge again.

No wait lines. Great service. Nice candle lit ambiance. Steak itself was a bit underwhelming (a bit too tough despite medium rare). My friend had strip loin steak. I had the beef bite appetizer and garlic bread. The beef bites was perfect full sized meal for a smaller person (could be a main course itself).Garlic bread was absolutely delicious.Creme brulee was a nice sweet ending.
