The lady behind the counter was incredibly rude from the minute I walked in and extremely argumentative when I went into inquire about a safety deposit box, she wouldn’t answer my questions and proceeded to talk over me and was probably in a really foul mood because I left and I will never go back to that location again. My own experience in the past with HSBC has always been really good but this individual has completely turned me off of ever using this bank even though it’s right by my house.

Good service from the employees but be prepared to potentially be discriminated against to enter.Indeed, the security woman inside asked us for our HSBC card to open the doors (a first!) whereas the person that came 5 minutes after us was not asked about anything. I guess they looked more mainstream than us. A disgrace to be honest.

The people who work at the bank are nice. The problem is that the banks are self serving, they do not care about their customers just money. Their have out dated policies and procedures that are in desperate need of fixing to stay current with the times. This isnt the 1900s anymore and unfortuantely banks seem to be unable to catch up with reality. Unfortunately bank branches are fairly uselss in todays world. Stuck in the past and out of touch with reality. If people were not forced to use banks they would not have be able to stay in business with their current practices.

I have used endless banks in various locations around the world but this branch of HSBC has made me feel at home for the last 2 years. All the staff are very helpful, the managers are easily approachable and Rima who is the relationship manager is extremely understanding and polite. In general having a HSBC Premier Account makes international banking a pice of cake. Good job HSBC.

Coming from the UK where the local branches have lost the personal rapport and interaction with clients, the experience I have had over that past 1 year here has been marvellous. From the very first day when I was greeted by Rima ( Relationship Manager) and thereafter every visit I have felt welcomed and cared for. I have always enjoyed HSBC services but here it has been beyond expectations. Thank you Rima!

UPDATE! Disappointing. 3rd time that I have complete an automated payment form and 3rd time I have been called for a late payment. World's local bank? Forget it. Old and antiquated rubbish. Will be moving my account from HSBC Canada.21DEC2015 - This has happened again!! I received a letter on the 20th Dec, dated 9th Dec, telling me that I needed to make the minimum payment by the 2nd Dec! I called HSBC MC and lodged a complaint. This will be the 4th time that I will have to set up an auto payment for the minimal amount. Total rubbish. We have moved our account and this was an old $18 charge that I made in October that I had forgotten about, Card has now been cut up. HSBC = polite service but poor delivery and exceptionally crappy processes.

I deposited an HSBC dividend cheque on May 21 ref:MW00-00001 and a hold was put on the cheque. I am disappointed as I have enough funds to cover the cheque. Please educate your staff to use common sense when putting holds on

I am with HSBC Argentia Branch Canada since 2013. I have always found this branch and its management team amazing. My relationship manager Ms. Rima Fathalla is great and very helpful.She is an outstanding banking officer. She is also very knowledgeable. She will always greet you with smile. The Branch manager Mr Jalal Abdul Rahim is also very helpful. He is a true leader and having excellent managerial skills. His attitude is always friendly. will be available for you even on Telephone. He is highly experienced, professional and respecful. Wish all of them best of luck.

It has been an excellent experience since I started visiting this branch of HSBC. It reminds me of the premium service I’m used to from Middle East. Vivet and Jalal both have provided outstanding service as per my needs and exceeded expectations.
