Amazing museum: beautiful show layout, walking 5 floors without feeling bored, lot of detail and knowledge, trying to play some instruments... Glad to be here.

My son, daughter, and I had several hours to kill on a layover in Calgary so we took an Uber to Studio Bell. This place had some really interesting displays and interactive setups. I think a lot is about setting your expectations right ahead of time. You need to be prepared to take your time and read the placards, put on the headsets, etc. I imagine the guided tour would be worthwhile. The building itself is amazing and I'd say my rating would have been a 4 but the architecture sets it apart.

I have to say this was by far one of my favorite memories. There are so many cool interactive spots to learn how to play different instruments. They even have a mix board for tinkering around with the production of a song.Overall, it was a great time, and I do plan on returning several times!!

Grand in scale and scattered in focus is the best way to describe Studio Bell. Is it a museum dedicated to Canadian music? A music science center akin to the Spark Science Center or something else? The architecture and thought put into the physical development of the building is amazing... jaw dropping at times. We went on Canada Day, and it was a madhouse. I would not recommend going on a stat if you actually want to take it in.Worth a visit, but pick your day accordingly. The theme" rooms feel disjointed at times and the flow is awkward. It has the potential to be the musical MoPOP of the North

Before you visit, make sure to check their website to see if there is a show happening. If you're lucky, you may be able to watch a live performance in addition to exploring the exhibits. It took us about 3 hours to visit all the floors, try out all the interactive exhibits, and learn a lot about Canadian music, all while having a lot of fun. The ticket price was a great value, and I definitely recommend that you visit, even if you don't know much about music.

This is a MUST SEE for someone who likes or wants to learn something about music while visiting Calgary. It’s more than a museum or a science centre for music lovers. Floors are dedicated to Canadian musicians, composers and singers, hands on for different kinds of musical instruments and educational materials. It will be time well spent for visitors of all ages.

I had the best time here. There is so much to see and do, including live music that’s all included in the price! There are instruments to play and so many exhibits all about Canadian music history.

I had NO IDEA that the Canadian Music Hall of Fame is in Calgary at the Studio Bell!! What a treat to watch the show Rock the Nation and hear about all the talented Canadian musicians who made great strides in their categories! I learned a few things about some of our record breaking artists. They really need to promote this place more, and the Junos. It is a very affordable place to take the family. Go! I found a discount code online, to take 20% off in person drop in admission. Well worth < $20.

A great place to visit in cold days! We learned a lot about the history of Canadian music and different instruments. We got to hear a great bell concert - that was amazing! The building is very interesting architecturally. The staff at the reception was very patient and nice - they answered all our questions. We'll definitely come to visit again!
