Double Tree Motel

The gentleman who runs this model is so accommodating! I arrived very late and checked in quickly. My bed was cosy and I liked the cabin vibes of the place! In a small town of only 250 people, this place is a gem. My room had a cute kitchen and the bathroom was spotless, as was the rest of the room. Lots of towels and good movie channels, I had a really comfortable stay. Will be returning with my family in the future when we travel through to Montana.

Great little motel right at the border. The guy running it is super very helpful keeps the place clean for a dated motel. He keeps it up quite well. His rates are reasonable highly recommend staying there wouldn’t be disappointed.

Very cozy and affordable. The memory foam mattress made my sleep even better. This motel is certainly a bang for your buck.The owner was also a very nice gentleman and helpful throughout our stay.

It’s a five star review for being a quaint place with a great owner and perfect location right up against the border.Will runs a tight ship and he knows every inch of his property. The room we stayed in had a firm Queen bed and kitchenette suite. The property is located right beside the border crossing and for our needs this trip it was perfectly located.It is a great place to crash out. The rooms are spotless and if you need anything Will is your guy.Don’t go expecting a gym and spa experience. Go expecting a nice little gem that you can call home for a couple nights.Thanks Will.

I got there at 4 am so the owner said i can stay until 3 pm the next day. Then he comes to my door at 11 am and says “get out”. No morals or values, he will change up for no reason. watch out.

I have been working and staying in Coutts over the past month, and will remain here for another month or two. The owners have made it feel like home for me. They are extremely accomodating to anything we need, and provided us with a BBQ and fire pit. It's a small town, so expectations should be adjusted for that, it's obviously not the Hilton or Ramada, but it's extremely clean and safe. The friendliness of the locals and owners are what makes it great.

I don't give 5 star reviews, but this little place has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room and bathroom are very clean. We rolled in late and the gentleman who checked us in was very kind and accommodating. I'll drive the extra two hours through the states to stay here again.

We stayed here while avoiding a snow storm during the holidays. While our travel plans didn't go..to plan, the gentlemen who owns this establishment was extremely helpful and accommodating in our time of need. Will, the owner, truly went above and beyond. He offered us our pick of rooms, refreshments and snacks. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds comfy. I would highly recommend you stay here, especially when you're in need of a friendly greeting and above & beyond hospitality.

Don’t judge this book by its cover. It may be a small, dated, 10-room motel in the small border town of Coutts , Alberta but, if you ever find yourself needing a place to lay your head, you can’t go wrong at the Double Tree. The rooms are clean and comfortable but, the best part is Will, the proprietor. He will do what it takes to make your stay hassle-free and enjoyable.Back to rooms. Mine reminded me of sleeping in my grandmother’s living room when I was growing up in the 60’s and 70’s except, instead I’d a hide-a-bed, there was a comfortable queen-size bed.Dining room table, old floral-print couch, straight out of the 1970’s, and a large chest of drawers with a mirror.Coffee pot, microwave, and fridge.If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll stay at the Double Tree! I stayed here about a week ago and I can say enough nice things about management. The gentleman who runs this place accomodated myself and my dog last minute. He even knew I was taking a long road trip and checked in to ensure I was safe. Truly above and beyond.
