Lake Trail Thrift Store

Such a great find! Truly a little of everything here, and $2 or less... add this to your list of places to stop, you won't be disappointed, and they need more traffic to keep doing what they do!!

Why can you only give 5 stars to the places that deserve more? Matt, Don and staff are rocking the thrift world with the LAKE TRAIL $2 STORE.Everything is $2.Need a thermos? $2, Need a pair of shoes, jeans or a coat? $2. Need a dresser? $2Clothing, stereo, books, DVDs, kitchenware, bedding, etc.This is a true community resource! <3 Thanks Matt.

***update from 4 to 5 stars*** June 2023The owner has put a lot of work into expanding and organizing the store; it’s much cleaner and easier to find what you’re looking for!They’ve also become stricter about accepting donations so the people who try to dump their broken items/trash aren’t getting through which I really appreciate.As always, the staff are awesome!Love going to this store even more now!***************************A great place to find thing you need. I really like this store, BUT sometimes sections are extremely messy and disorganized to the point where you wouldn’t risk moving an item off the shelf for fear of everything falling off. Or some areas (particularly the children’s space) is blocked with so much carelessly placed items that the shelf’s aren’t accessible.It needs a bit of tidying so it doesn’t look like there’s dusty garbage on the shelves. Not trying to be mean; I genuinely like going here, but I don’t go as often as I’d like for these reasons.

Staff were helpful & friendly! Everything was $2 or less!! Super cool place, a bunch of neat things :)) would definitely recommend checking this place out!

The most incredible Thrift store!! Everything is $2 and the family run business is incredibly generous and kind. One of a kind place. I only had about 10-15min but I’ll be back as soon as I can!

When they first opened the staff were very friendly and I loved the idea of dropping off our toys/clothes all in superb condition for other families and kids to use for their enjoyment. However time changes things and one staff in particular has grown into a nasty bitter old man and almost chewed my head off for missing the sign that says drop offs must be ok’d by staff first ( was not like that before) and then made me feel like I was a nuisance when he had to take my sons superhero structures and figurines ( that we spent thousands on in the course of 8 years) to the back of the shop. It’s a shame really and I will no longer support them or promote them, perhaps some customer service training for the team would be an idea for them, but then again I would be bitter too working with a grumpy old man like that guy.

Like they say.$2 for anything and everythingBest deal around.You almost have to go daily, to scorea good find.Generally pretty tidy inside.Also U-Haul rentals available.

For two dollars you can’t lose. It’s a great store check it out.
