Amazing service. I always end up with awkward and dismissive service when I try and buy meat at Atwater. So I usually hang back and try and figure out what I might want and hope for the best when I approach any counter. If I do at all. I usually skip this boucherie because it’s busy, but today this wonderful person saw me hanging back and actually got my attention to ask if I wanted help. they let me know how to cook the cut I chose, and even asked a coworker for a translation when they didn’t know it in English. Which is way above and beyond what I’d ever expect and I’m so appreciative. Will definitely be back. Thank you for your kindness.

Boucherie de Tours is a purveyor of quality meats. Most everything I have purchased here has met my expectation of the quality I expect.... Except their sausages...I just fail to understand why a butcher with a good reputation would shoot themselves in the foot, and risk their reputation by using old stale frozen sanglier in their sausages? Why?!?This past weekend Oct 4, 2020 my wife brought home a selection of sausages for dinner. These included 4 sanglier sausages... everyone agreed the meat tasted like old freezer". Good service, but I bought chicken there that was unreasonnably fatty. Spent 20 min trying to trim them myself. They were packaged in a way to hide the fat and tendons. Dissapointed!

This store is large, they have a few sections. I always go to the section next to premiere moisson to grab sausages from William J Walter. ~2$ for a gourmet sausages that truly makes any dish amazing. If I want a delicious quick quick meal, I grab a few (curry mushroom is my favorite) and cook it with veggies and couscous. Simple and delicious.I asked if the meats they have are socially responsible and they told me yes, they work closely with farms that are - Lennon farm especially.
