With 4 fishing rods we caught 1 cat fish in 1.5 hours. We were fishing right from the dock, and didn't lose any pickerel rigs. Maybe better for ice fishing.

1st time I launched here and it was great. The only downside is the limited parking. I usually launch at Yellow Brick road in Belair but a movie is being filmed there so no access. It was nice to explore a different area going south of Balsam Bay.

Easily accessible, busy, but great for a nice day of fishing off the dock or from your boat if you have one.

What can I say? I have only been here in winter to ice fish and man I never have luck. Maybe I need to push farther out?Where I was was clean 14' of water. Caught 1 14 green tho to save my day. Tight lines everyone and stay safe"
