My car suddenly overheated while trying to catch a ferry for a girls weekend. We pulled off the highway near Kirtec Auto Services and after checking to make sure we weren't just out of coolant, we were at a loss as to what the issue was! The mechanic at the shop had a full lineup of cars he had to attend to but he called Kelly, the owner, and he came in and offered to take a look at the car free of charge. He helped diagnose what the problem was, and although it couldn't be fixed on the spot, he gave us advice and the confidence to get the car to a friend's so we could make our ferry. He helped save our girls weekend and wouldn't even accept any money for his time. Very generous and friendly service. I would definitely recommend taking your car to Kirtec!

I never knew getting your car serviced would be such a hassle to the people you pay to fix it. I've never had a mechanic complain more about fixing my car. When you're being paid to provide a service, you should have better customer service. Especially when paid over $1000 for said service.They also hardly return calls and then complain that your car is holding up their hoist. If they returned calls, it would have been fixed sooner; it takes 5 minutes to call a customer back. I would not recommend this shop for any big jobs. Maybe just oil changes and brakes- something they can do in an hour or two. Honestly, I would never go back. It might benefit them to hire someone to run the office- the owner isn't very good at it. I found him rude and kind of a whiner.

I came in with a 2019 Acura RDX with 47000km after the Burrard Acura had sold it with faulty brakes . I called 2 shops before Kirtec Auto and Kelly, the owner, was the first one to inquire about the year and more information about the car. After telling him it's a 2019 and more about the noise the brakes and rotors were making, he told me to call the dealership and demand an explanation rather than paying him to do it. I was surprised that Kelly, someone I've never spoke to before, was giving me advice that could solve the issue and save me money. Long story short, the dealership didn't budge, but they gave free brakes and Kelly told us the shop was busy, but after hearing the lies the dealership had told us, he was sympathetic and promised to fix it as soon as he could with minimal costs. He stayed true to his word and replaced my brakes and rotors for a very good price. On top of that, his mechanics had found the specific issue wrong with the brakes and rotors and made videos for us to send to Acura Canada to get justice for what happened with the dealership. I spoke to one of the mechanics who worked on the vehicle while Kelly was out of the shop and he explained to me in full detail exactly what was going on with the brakes and rotors for it to be a problem. My experience with this shop was beyond exceptional and there is no doubt I will be going to Kirtec Auto from now on. Kelly is someone who genuinely cares about fixing vehicles and everyone there knows exactly what they are doing. The Acura technicians didn't have a clue as to why the brakes and rotors were worn out and blamed me for the way I drive it, but everyone at Kirtec Auto who worked on the RDX found the problem and fixed it for a very good price and very quickly.

I can't even begin to describe how fantastic Kelly is. He's both a wonderful mechanic and incredible person at the same time! He helped my nephew and I out in such a great way and really went the extra mile (10 miles even) to help us out and get my nephew's car fixed up beautifully and at a fair price! I currently live in downtown Vancouver and I will go out of my way to make sure Kelly is the person I go to anytime I need anything done for any vehicle! Cannot recommend him enough!

Kelly who's a super nice guy helped me put my winter tires. They are already super busy and manages to get me in. He does really try. So thank you for going above and beyond and I was not expecting to get in but was hoping for cancelation. Everything all worked out. Thank you so much!!

I've taken my vehicle to Kirtec twice now. Both times I was met with professionalism, and knowledgeable staff. Ed and Kelly went above and beyond to ensure my car was ready before I had to pickup the kids from school, which meant they needed two staff members working on my car before the school bell wrung.Thanks again for the great service and fair prices.Vehicle drives like it's brand new again. Keep up the good work gentlemen!

Very good location, with a knowledgeable team of staff.Car is always turned over back to owner on promised dates.Kelly is more than willing to work with all customers to suit their needs in terms of services, parts, prices, etc.His staff are great, but there is just 1 guy there. I wouldn't want to see during my future visits. (Don't know his name)In general everything is good!!!RECOMMENED TO ALL!!!

Kelly and his team saved me and my children from a potentially fatal outcome to our Christmas travels. If Kelly and his team hadn't taken the time to take a look at my vehicle we may not have made our trip to Saskatchewan. Kelly found two mistakes made by other shops and during a busy time he took us in and helped us. We truly owe him everything for his exceptional service and compassion that sets him above all the rest in the industry. You want quality see Kelly!! You're in good hands at Kirtec!

I’ve come to kirtec for a while now they always do a awesome job. I came in for transmission problems and they whipped me up with a rebuild and a awesome deal. I’ve also come in for general engine repairs and they always do the job right. 5 Star mechanic shop.
