COBS Bread Bakery

We buy variety of bread and scones from Cobs Breads store in Sutter Brook, Port Moody. Their breads are very good and fresh. Their scones are excellent, though pricy but, it is ok to pay slightly more for freshly cooked bakery products.I recommend this store to anybody who likes good and tasty fresh breads. Staff are friendly too

what a joke! I was in the area early morning and went into the store to claim my 6 pack Gourmet buns reward. I waited in line for a few minutes and then the girl told me that you will have to come back later as the Gourmet buns are not baked yet, though I see 6 pack buns on their counter. Don't trick people to sign up for free buns if you don't want to give them out!

This is my family's local bakery and a favorite bread shop, but unfortunately, I'm giving 1 star because of the poor customer service. After 8 years of being regular customers buying mainly our favorite sour bread with seeds almost every second day, today my husband was refused to get two loaves of bread using our last 2 coupons that expire this evening. The reason was that we have the right to get 1 bread per day using the coupon, and not compromise was made to a loyal customer. Just for your information, onother location let us having 2 breads with the coupons and were very kind. Even the young blond girl that helped" my husband took away 2 coupons and gave him 1 bread. He had to ask for one coupon back."

My kid was choosing himself a bun too long and I said sorry, it’s because he’s a birthday boy he’s taking ages to choose. He got his raspberry danish and cinnamon roll box as a birthday gift complimentary(free) Awesome place! Awesome people!!! Best Raspberry Danish around ❤️♥️

I LOVE Cobs, but this one over cooks their bread. The white bread crust is really tough (I have bought many times when the sunwood square location closed) and croissants are over cooked. As well as the bred is slightly smaller, weird little pieces. I rather buy from thirftys next door or drive to sunwood square when it is back open. I don't know how theirs is so different as a chain, but it is.

Always smells like fresh bread (sometimes even down the block) when you walk in. Great quality baking for a fair price. I always pick up my bread from here. Friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere, cheery and delightful to visit. The bread is the best, but the pastries are quite good too (especially the chocolate croissants).

First of all... the heavenly smell when you walk in, especially since I made an early morning stop (which their opening times are awesome to grab a fresh Loaf for a wholesome breakfast) is literally incredible. Your wowed at the almost blinding golden crust everywhere whilst drooling like a dog. Their selection is great! All products made fresh with minimal and wholesome ingredients for a super yummy and fantastic grade product.The lady here literally made my day, super kind, approachable and upbeat. She offered to cut my Loaf for me and sliced regulard or thick. It was an absolute delight visiting this bakery this morning to he honest.I also love how Cobs gives back to the community through profits and their own initiatives, a great company is one that supports and allows other local businesses to leverage and thrive with them. You can so redeem Cobbs rewards with your associated cell phone number, making earning free dough (Pun intended) a sure breeze.I also snagged some free taster of the salted Cranberry baguette, which you could say was the creme de la crumb!Cobs Bread is a big chain, but support local businesses and charities just like this fantastic business do!

Not sure why but I got a loaf that was cut and bagged instead of freshly cut. Didn't think much of it at the time but turns out the loaf was made from less than fresh ingredients that tasted of mould. The loaf was baked at slightly higher heat, I assume, so that the stronger toasted flavor would hide the rotten taste. Please be careful and check the bread you are given when buying here. Wouldn't make sense to pay Cobs prices if your not getting bread made from fresh and high quality ingredients.

I come by every morning before work to get a cinnamon bun, not only because of how absolutely delicious they are but also because of how friendly the staff are! It's such a positive way to start the day.My partner and I also only will get bread from here since moving into the area, it makes the BEST french toast and is better than anything we could ever buy in a grocery store.
