I am a freshwater fish lover. I bought quite some fish from this place. The fish appear to have stayed in her tank for unusually long time. Due to malnutrition, they stayed small. They do not have much longevity left in them. I will not go to this fish store any further for freshwater fish.

No corals. No fish. Just tanks filled with water, aiptasia and algae. Not sure why they were even open they literally had NOTHING for sale. Store needs a deep cleaning. Owner seems nice but that's besides the point.

I hesitated to give 5 stars because I have a fresh water tank and the FW selection there is limited. However I did find what I was looking for it is called AFK Reef" supplies. The salt water selection there is amazing and tempts me to change my tank over. And if you are looking for FW pop in and have a look

Best aquarium shop in HRM. The fish I've bought here are A++, the frags I have bought here are a good size and the cleanest I have bought from any of the stores around. The nicest selection of salt water fish and coral. Friendly and helpful. Dry goods selection is not huge but she's got what you really need, and if she doesn't, you just need to ask. It did take me a while to find her shop but I am so glad I did, I am always happy when I leave here! Also this is not just a Salt water aquarium store, there is a good selection of fresh water fish and plants too.

I wish they carried tiny filters for my 10g but it's got so many supplies that regular stores do not have AND turns out, they sold betta fish, after I already got another one I should of waited before buying it cuz it died too soon due to fin rot because the heater keeps fluctuating temperature

Brenda is very helpful and friendly. She has a great selection and prices are very reasonable. Always a pleasure when shopping there. Tanks are well maintained and cared for. I enjoy going there when visiting Halifax.
