I bought Speedo leg floats and immediately my daughter had an allergic reaction to the plastic on both her legs. It’s been almost a week and her rashes are still red and I’m pretty upset. I didn’t get any rash at all with mine.The young lad that helped us actually told us the wrong way to use the floats that didn’t help this situation in any way thus my edited review.They do have a wide selection of googles and gear so no choice to shop here unless you buy online in Ottawa.

Good product, poor customer serviceI went twice to this store for its excellent reputation for chlorine resistant swimwear.Both times there was a rather bored young man who sat there and barely looked up. He wasn’t rude but he was distant and curtly answered questions and offered no help or service except when I could not reach a swimsuit that was too far up to reach. He made me feel unwelcome. Granted I am not an athlete but an ordinary woman who is not in great form. But I do enjoy my swim and aquafit classes at the local pool. Perhaps they prefer to serve swimmers who compete in swim meets or swim teams?!I needed a swimsuit that fit me well after having lost some weight. But he was of little help in showing me any options. I left rather disillusioned.I did go back and ended up buying a swimsuit because I needed one for a trip but it was not exactly what I liked as they didn’t have my size in the one I preferred.I strongly suggest a sales person who is a better communicator and one who is interested in customers. Of all ages and sizes.If he were one of my staff I would have put him on notice for lack of customer service.

Great store for all your swimming needs. I was in the Ottawa store on January 24 - clerk was Benjamin. I want to thank her for the assistance she provided with my purchase of powerfins and Speedo prescription goggles. Game changer for my distance swims. She took the time to have me try different eye strengths. She also gave me the confidence to give it a try. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. You have a great team member. Thank you again.

I drove from Alta Vista all the way out to Greenbank to Aquasport, only to be told that if I wanted an Aquafit swimsuit between sizes 10 to 20, forget it - they have no stock and can't say when they might get any. So disappointed.

Came to buy sport swimsuits here because of the large selection of them, general staff was helpful and friendly through and through. As a long time shopper I hadn't experienced issues here before. The manager however changed that. She wasn't very friendly and when she tried to explain a store policy to me she was very demeaning about it as if it was unheard of to use their coupon during that same purchase. Having spent hundreds at this store before, it was a little unfair to have that happen to me. It doesn't stop there, after I paid, she lost my customer receipt and couldn't remember if she put it in my hand or in the bag! She blamed me for losing it despite her irresponsibility! I thought the receipt would naturally be in the bag, but when we searched it wasn't. Completely irresponsible and not to mention rude and disrespectful tone. Never shopping here again!

Jennette was absolutely amazing.I was out of my comfort zone as this was the first time I started to take swimming lessons and needed a bathing suit. Both Jennette and Ben were so patient with me. Lots of stock to choose from. I had an amazing experience. Been back twice now!

I had a terrific experience finding just the right bathing suit. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was going on vacation and needed a bathing suite. I heard about aqua sport so I tried them out. I really like the quality of the suits and the fact that the staff can guide you in picking out what works best for your body type. I've had the suites for a few years and they haven't faded at all.

Great independent store for swimwear and accessories. Bathing suits are sporty and fashionable. Great selection for kids. Price point is on par or better than going to the mall. Highly recommend!
