Class A Automotive

The staff at Class A Automotive are nothing short of fantastic! I was on my way up north and had an issue with my boat trailer. They were able to fix it for me quickly and with exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service. An all around great experience!

They wanted $3500 to do timing chain in Ford F150 truck. Where as Moynes Ford in Lindsay who has Ford trained Mechanics and Techs done job for $2600. I don't know if it was there reg price or if because I said I had a warranty with nation wide that the price was $3500 but I was only covered for $2500. Now there diagnose was spot on as I had to get it done again threw Ford for warranty. The price for the diagnostic was about $240 which was ok and they gave me the paperwork and explained everything in detail to me. They had clean facility. Closed gates and locked at night so I had no fears of truck being stolen. And there worker were very honest also as I leave little things in weird places to see. Ya know like change in console and toonie on floorboard. Step drills in back door. Sunglasses on dash.(Maui Jim) and all was still there which was good as I didn't mean to leave $400 sunglasses out cause that's how you get your window smashed.I had 0 problems with this place I just could not afford them. And when I asked skilled tradesmen at work about the place nobody had anything bad to say.

I recently took my truck in for some repairs. Upon driving and visual inspection I was informed that the rear shocks had to be replaced. After getting a quote I decided to get the job done. It appeared the mechanic knew what he was doing but; the manager of the office seemed to be lacking in the ability to communicate full details about how much the job was actually going to cost. The final price was 3 times more than the original quote. After discussing this issue he decided to tell me that if I did not like the price he would take it back into the shop and take the new shocks out. Isn't that customer service?" Finally it was decided that he would take 1 hour of labor off as a resolution. Unfortunately it was still more than twice the amount but sometimes you have to save face and deal with it another way and; this is the reason for such a low rating on Class A Automotive. Since the business is recommended by C.A.A I will be informing them of the issue and along with to taking the matter further with the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services..... Beware"

I ask them to fix my flat tire and they said they're on their lunch time at this moment. I totally understand but when I ask them to at least put some air to my spare tire so I can drive for time being the said Mr Lube is just 2 blocks away...WOW . thanks.

I have been several times now and Chris took good care of my husbands Volkswagen rabbit and my tiguan. I am happy to have found a good place close to home. I do find him honest and trustworthy!

Last December my car slided into a ditch with quite some damages. I didn't report to the insurance company, and would have to repair the car at my own expense. I first went to other body shops and mechanics but was very disappointed with them. Then, I was glad to visit Class A, which provided just the service I needed. They are a great choice if you have to pay your own bills, with quick services and reasonable rates.

I cant say enough about the service i received from Class A Automotive. I recently purchased a Jetta basically sight unseen and had it sent there to be safetied. The staff squeezed me in even though they were incredibly busy and completed the inspection the very next morning. Upon discovering a number of things were required to bring the car up to code they completed the work within a day. they even found ways to help me keep the price down. I dealt with Caylee and Chris over the phone and cannot thank them enough for how friendly and easy to work with they were. If I lived in Peterborough this would be my new shop! I highly recommend this shop for anything mechanic related. They even put my key on a convenient carabiner. 100% the best service I have ever received from a mechanic shop. Thank You!!

Took the car for a checkup, winter tire changeover, and oil change. I had felt something funky with the steering and my brakes were squealing occasionally, so I wasn’t surprised when I had a loose tyrod end and needed new rear brakes. They said the front brakes were good until spring. The price was fair, the service was friendly and efficient, and as a bonus, every 5th oil change is free! I’ll definitely go back!

Today was my first visit to Class A Automotive ...... firstly their front counter rep Caylee is absolutely AWESOME !!! Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. My car was repaired in the stated time frame and price was fair. I will be returning for more service in the future. Thank You Class A.

Great level of service and well accredited mechanics at Class A Automotive. They have looked after my mother's vehicle, my vehicle and repaired them within reasonable costs for parts and labour. Also, when the mechanics at Class A feel that the repair is not up to their expertise then they are honest, they won't proceed and will suggest other shops who can repair the issue. So, I can respect that.
