Merike is amazing!!!! I can’t tell you how wonderful this experience was. I thought my wedding dress was beautiful to begin with but after Merike worked her magic, it was stunning. I also want to say how ingenious her skills are. I am insulin dependent and Merike was able to create a place for my pump that had easy access and you couldn’t even see it!!!! Amazing. I recommend anyone to go to Merike. I will definitely be back.

Merike is AMAZING! She was recommended to me where I purchased my dress and I could not be happier with the results. The dress was a bit large on me but she worked her magic and it fit me like a glove by the time she was finished. I was blown away with the quality of her work. She is a true master! She also did some alteration on my Mom's dress and it turned out perfect. She is very personable, responsive and accommodating. Thank you Merike!

I wish I could give Merike a 10/5 rating, she is that incredible! Merike customized and altered my bridal gown into my dream wedding dress and also created for me a coordinating bespoke ivory wool jacket to keep me warm on the way to my late Fall wedding. She was able to replicate the jacket from an idea photo I showed her and it is stunning and will be something I can wear for years to come. In addition to being a sewing marvel she is also such a pleasure to work with - kind, patient, helpful and so sweet. Merike will make your bridal/formal wear alterations, customizations and creations such a smooth and fun process - book her now!

Merike is incredible! She has altered 2 bridesmaids dresses for me and my own wedding dress and I was thrilled each time! Her fittings are spot on and made me feel so confident in each dress. The best seamstress in the GTA! From day one I knew Merike would be the only person I trusted to alter such an important dress. The knowledge she imparted about her craft in our first meeting allowed me to trust her instantly.Merike did an absolutely incredible job on my wedding dress! She spent so much time and energy making sure the appliqués looked perfect after cutting so much off the bottom of the dress because I’m short. Merike is a miracle worker and made my 2-sizes-too-big dress fit me like a glove! I’ve found my seamstress for life, and have already recommended her to many family and friends.Thank you so much Merike for your dedication and expertise!!

Working with Merike was so fun and magical. You could tell she just loves what she does and that she's so knowledgable about wedding dresses, fabrics, fashion, etc. Once I reached out, she immediately got the process started and we always progressed between the initial consult to the second/final fitting. She always made sure I understood what she was doing to the dress and why, and that I was comfortable in the dress given her changes. She also was so calm and professional, and always made sure I felt good/like myself in my wedding dress.

Merike is absolutely amazing! She made my wedding dress dreams come true. After not being able to find anything in my style and my body completely changing after having a baby, it was Merike to the rescue. She was so easy to work with to come up with a design, bouncing ideas back and fourth. She is professional and so sweet. She is extremely talented and did an amazing job on my dress. I would use Merike again in a heartbeat.

This review is a long time coming. I unfortunately had to postpone my wedding from Oct 2020 to Oct 2021. So I had this beautifully made custom dress hanging out in my closet for a whole extra year...thanks covid.I was looking for a unique wedding dress, I wanted to wear black. Which you could imagine was difficult to find...I had the thought to reach out to some local designers to see the cost and Merike was a very reasonable price. After our first meeting she had a rough dress designed and put together which I thought was wild!! We had about 3 fittings and then I got to take my dream dress home!!Merike was friendly and receptive to my ideas but also very accommodating to changes I wanted on the dress throughout the process. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a special piece, especially brides who are looking for something unique and budget friendly!! Thank you Merike!!!
