Chartwell Riverside Retirement Residence

We had the pleasure of DJing a 50's dance here. The staff and the residents were so nice to us. The facility was beautiful. We can't wait to come back and play more classic music for the everyone.

Moved my parents into this facility this week and the transition couldn’t have been more seamless. Staff was so welcoming, made us feel like part of the family. Parents are very happy and are loving the experience from the facility itself, the staffs attention to detail and the catering to their specific needs and of course, the food. I left them feeling relieved that they are in a safe and welcoming environment.

Chartwell, Riverside is a special place. Our parents call it home. We call it peace of mind. We feel assured that Mom & Dad are safe, secure and well cared for, especially in these challenging COVID-19 times. We can't say enough about the team. Everyone from front-line staff to leadership treats us like family. Communication is a strength and any small issues that may arise from time to time are are addressed to our satisfaction in a timely manner. Chartwell Riverside treats everyone kindly and with great respect. During Covid-19 they have taken even more amazing care (if that is even possible) of the residents and they ensured family members were kept up to date on a regular basis. Knowing our mum is in such good care, in a home that provides tasty and nutritional meals, wellness oversight and interesting and fun activities, we have never doubted the decision of choosing Chartwell Riverside.

My Mother ( Sandra Topping) is here for a short stay from Chartwell Royalcliffe. Mom is very impressed with the build and how up to date the furnishings are, and the staff is most amazing here.She is in a lovely 2 bedroom tasteful furnished. Mom is very impressed with everything.

I've worked at Chartwell for three years the staff, residents,and families keep me coming back!!! The warm family atmosphere and the laughs I take home everyday are memories I'll cherish forever! Since I started working at Riverside I've worked My way up the ladder from kitchen help to housekeeping to Med Ga to Lifestyles program manager. Every day I'm rewarded with warm smiles and love from our residents and their families.I love planning all our events and look forward to lots of fun,laughs and love in the future !!!

Chartwell has done everything in their power to assist my father who moved in just before the COVID-19 pandemic. We feel very lucky to have him in such a caring and safe place. He has fun, eats well and truly enjoys interacting with the staff and other residents. Would highly recommend Chartwell for a loved one.

This month our family shared the difficult task of helping my Mom choose a retirement living facility to call her new home. It was difficult for us all but Chartwell on Riverside came out on top. From the first phone contact to the actual move-in and days of adjustment we could not feel more satisfied that we have made the right choice. The staff were so welcoming and upbeat and seem to know and interact with each resident by name. There were lots of drop-ins to Mom’s apartment by staff to make her feel welcomed and checks to see that she was being supported in the way that we wished and they had committed to. There were lots of interaction with us, her family, to ensure that we were also comfortable with her move. Chartwell on Riverside is a bright airy building with spacious apartments, attractive shared amenities and awesome, professional staff. Our family can’t say enough about how happy we are with mom’s transition to her new home.
