The UPS Store

I saw the abundance of bad reviews and felt as a consumer there’s some clarifying to do. Everyone’s complaining about packages not arriving but I can’t be mad at this franchise owner, it’s not their fault my package hasn’t arrive as this is just a pick up facility as far as I’m concerned. Lady on the phone was nice and straight to the point. If your package is stuck, these guys aren’t the ones to blame or review bomb, call up UPS or the customer centre.

I also had a bad experience , when the lady was halfway through serving me , the phone rang , she answered it and left me standing there , while she proceeded to serve the person on the phone .when she got back to me, a customer came in, and started asking her questions , again ,she abandoned me , and stopped to answer questions. At that point I told her she needed to finish serving me ,before anyone else. That was when she seemed to be having trouble with her printer, and she told me she could not print my label. I left the store in frustration , I will never return again .I have been doing business with Ups for years , never, have I ever seen that kind of service, Imagine my surprise ,when I asked for the managers name , and she told me she was the owner. This reflects bad on Ups, who got a reputation to uphold. Stay away from this store.

Don’t see why all the crabby negative reviews here considering this is one of the better ups stores in the area. always use them for shipping with no problems, much appreciated

Most bad reviews are just people that have had bad experiences with UPS overall, this store is solid and staff is always kind and courteous.

Had great service this week. The counterperson helped 3 of us at the same time with grace and aplomb. I had pre-filled in the wrong paperwork and then paid with the wrong card. Sorry! Gal behind the counter didn't even break a sweat. In this digital world it's great to still be able to get help from humans in a storefront. Thanks! I'll be back.

I think people are getting confused between a franchise owner and UPS. If UPS messed up. It's not this store's fault. They're just a transfer station. I've always had great service here, the lady at the front counter always has a smile. I have have problems with UPS, but I've also had problems with FedEx and Canada post. But I don't blame the person in front of me. They're just working for a bigger company that messed up and that does happen. But they've always made it right.

The reviews I see here for this store are sad. These are people trying to run a business during covid and not being able to find people who actually work for a living. We went in today to ship a package to Florida, we were quickly helped and told what to do and the forms to fill out. There were several other customers in the store and the lady who was there on her own did a great job handing everyone and we were in and out quickly. Y'all need to chill in the reviews here, bad things happen when you ship. Not this stores fault. With one employee in there they also don't have time to solve all your problems, do your research before you go in there . - basic stuff

I had a rather neutral experience. I went in with Amazon return boxes and the line was quick to move. The lady was somewhat authoritative, but not really rude.The store looks worn out and cheaply maintained. Didn’t expect it from UPS. But otherwise, I got everything done that I needed.

I didn't think I could be frustrated with a company more than Canada Post, but UPS has been proving me wrong. Twice now I've asked to have packages delivered to the UPS store and I get confirmations that it has done then, but then my packages still get delivered to my landlords door. At least this time it got brought to the back door like I had requested, but what's the point of asking to bring it to the ups store if they aren't going to? I even called customer service and she confirmed it was at the store and it was not. So frustrating.

The owner or whoever he is, is so mean that even he is not ready to provide the packaging tape. I had been to him directly from the work place and so did not have the box properly packed. The gentleman (Who is always there whenever you go) clearly informed me that he wont provide me with the packaging tape. I kept the box there and told him that I would visit him again tomorrow with packaging tape and that he can keep my box aside.I think a big giant like UPS should think twice and maybe more time before lending a franchise to such an Owner.BTW this has happened with me for the 2nd time but different case. I have no option as of now and hence visit him.
