I’ve been taking group classes with Thierry for the last 5-6 years and absolutely loved it. I recently upgraded to private courses and have to say they’re a game changer! Thierry’s level of expertise and experience is off the charts.He make learning Krav Maga easy and definitely gives you and extraordinary workout. Where Thierry stands out though, is his ability to explain the philosophy and reasoning behind every move. The cause and effect. Not only do you come away from the course with a ton of endorphins, but even better, a clairity of mind that I’m hooked on now.

Thierry focuses on plausible and unexceptional situations to demonstrate effective methods of fending off attackers. Thierry is an amazing teacher. His methods make learning this intelligent, practical, and effective defensive system fun and interesting. We see his passion for teaching Krav Maga in every technique we learn. The facility is large, bright, centrally located and fully equipped. We work on hand to hand combat, defensive techniques against sharp edged weapons like knives and sticks and bottles, and the ultimate - defence against guns. If you want to try something out of the mainstream martial arts world, this is definitely worth the two hour trial course. You will be hooked after just one lesson. No katas, no redundancies, no belts or belt classes... Everyone learns the same thing at the same time, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced. As I read somewhere Krav Maga is more MARTIAL and less ART"! A challenging workout

This school is the best. I've tried several other Krav Maga places, nothing comes close. The depth and understanding Thierry has is miles ahead of everyone else. Look at his background vs. the other guys - he's actually tried this stuff in real life. That kind of experience is invaluable. He's also very focused on the teaching aspect so he shows you things in a way that makes you get it right away. It's too bad I hadn't found this place sooner.

The place to be if you want to learn how to defend yourself the best way possible. Thierry always pushes us to our limits physically mentally and emotionally .You can’t get a better instructor than that!

Taking up krav maga lessons was one of the best decisions I made for myself. Both an effective physical and mental workout, the dicipline is logical, strategic and grounded in reality, making it a perfect specialty for real life situations. On top of conditionning your body, you will also develop your focus, your determination, your confidence, your resistance to stress and your team spirit. In those classes I found a place where I can learn to be stronger, with the help of passionate students and an instructor with years of experience. And to anyone who is interested but believes they are not good or fit enough to do it, I highly encourage you to try it anyway. You will be surprised what you can do when you give yourself the chance.

I love Thierry approach and style. He deliver high quality teaching. His style make it really easy to learn and understand and will help you rapidly progress. His level of knowledge and experience is incredible. If you want to improve fitness and coordination, it is also the place to go. Amazing coaching skills!!!

I'm a student at IIS Krav Maga Training Center Montreal and it has changed my life in many aspects.
