Day 1 and even Ashley MacIsaac being a No Show tonight didn't detract from the awesome talent we were witness to. Can't wait to do this all over tomorrow. Great organization, they thought of everything. Even shuttles provided to get us from venue to venue. Hats off to the Folk Harbour Society, the Volunteers, many sponsors and the Town of Lunenburg. All this and they're doing a great job if keeping things green as well. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough.

The talent at this festival year after year is impressive. The Sunday morning Gospel Concert is a highlight. Amazing location and very well run.

Even if this festival didn't have such a great bunch of performers consistently year after year, it would still win the prize for the most comfortable and scenic venues. Just go.
