Price is a bit cheaper than doing it on your own, but just know that after you pay, you are taken through a mandatory setup of an RBC bank account. There is no option to skip ahead. It has to be done first before you can submit the application to the government. They will also run a credit check on you to open the account. There needs to be an option to skip the bank account setup in the process OR clear wording before payment is made that after payment you need to set up account before they will process your application for your business. And you need to go into the branch for a formal appointment to finalize your account. Just FYI. I wish I had known.

they incorporated the name but forget every other service after that. I needed tax numbers from my province they dont provide that service all of a sudden..I need the name to be in english and french which i asked them to do at the begining but they didnt and then now they dont provide that service all of a sudden.you pay for what you get, cheap but forget getting anything more than an incorporated name..

I love Ownr. When I started out my business I had no idea how to register it with the Canadian government or make it 'official'. When I was looking to register it, I was a busy working professional. My days were packed with work, client work and business back end stuff, and also living life. I didn't have any time or extra energy to dig or do research on the Canadian gov site, so I did a google search and found Ownr. Ownr made it so easy to leave up my registration in their hands for a fee. I didn't mind paying because I got a ton of value - having someone do all the work for me and I get bonus perks for myself and my business, plus access to documents that I'd need down the line for my business? Sign me up! Plus I got the option of getting my deposit back with RBC (I didn't take it because I was too busy to look into it but it was nice to have that option and I really appreciate it).Their customer service is also very friendly too. I used their live chat once to talk about the RBC refund option, and they happily answered my questions. I really appreciate that :)Overall, I would recommend Ownr if you want to focus on your energy on your genius and doing your magic, and have a service do all the documentation work for you - the not so fun stuff. You deserve to focus on what energizes you in your business, not what drains you. You have people to serve!! Thank you so much for your help and support, Ownr! Ownr was VERY simple to use and I have all of my business info in one simple to use area. I love it and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone starting their own business.

I was sceptical at the start on signing up with Ownr. I always tread with caution when it comes to things I’m proud of, like my new business. It has been so easy and informative using the Ownr website. They’re very helpful and it’s all laid out very easy for people, like me, who don’t know too much about legalities of starting a business.As well, when I reached out to customer service, they were very fast to respond. I've used Ownr twice - once for my sole proprietorship and recently for my corporation. Both experiences have been amazing! Ownr simplifies the business creation process down to a few clicks and keeps all of my vital information in one place.The ability to make changes to my corporation without needing a lawyer, is worth every penny. I can add shareholders and change share details for way cheaper than paying a lawyer. Love it!Lastly, the integration with RBC is amazing. It significantly reduces the initial cost of creating a business if you sign up for a business account, which you'll need anyway. As a personal RBC client, I am very please to stay with RBC for my business.

I was a little hesitant incorporating online but wow, what an easy and very thorough experience. I have had no trouble getting organized and the responsiveness and patience from the support advisors has been wonderful as I am learning all of this. I highly recommend this service. Amazing service! Highly recommend to anyone setting up their own business. I never would have figured out all the paperwork and options on my own. Also I took the quiz to see what plan was right for me and was actually recommended the cheaper plan. Too often sites try to find a reason you need to pay more. I had all government Docs back and ready and registered in 1 day and I can access them all in my ownr portal. Just really impressed with the setup and service.

Great to incorporate and get yourself going BUT BEWARE! There are many traps with using this. The recurring charges for the minute book, the set amount of deposit into your account, tax info. There is more but take a look and learn for yourself. I would not use them again.

Hi, Thank you so much for your help in getting my business up and running. The price is phenomenal, only $49 plus tax. $52. Very reasonable. They had everything set up within a week. I didn't have to wait that long. I am Storm's Massage Studio in Sherwood Park. AB. They responded asap when open. They answered all of my questions and concerns. Without your help, I wouldn't know how to do it on my own. So I thank you all again for your wonderful help. The process was very simple, you just have to follow the prompts, and put all of your info in the application form. And I hope you help even more entrepreneurs and businesses.
