London Drugs

I went to London Drugs today (Jan 15, 2023 at noon), I was helped by a clerk named Graham and told him I was here for my hold item (Fujifilm Insta Mini Link 2) that I called in the night before. He was really nice and able to help us out. I purchased the item. Then I asked him about projectors since I am looking to purchase one. He was able to show us an RCA Home Theatre Projector that was $179.99 & turns out it was on sale for $139 and was the last item. (There was another RCA product that was much cheaper but it was out of stock). I told Graham we were in a hurry to go somewhere else but we would come back later that night to purchase this RCA Home Theatre Projector. He took the post it from my hold item that had my name and number and placed it on the box of the projector. We thanked Graham and left. Later that night, I was not able to go to London Drugs so I had asked my brother to purchase the projector for me. When he came to the store, he was talking to a clerk named Matthew H. My brother had called me because Matthew H could not find the item we were asking for that was put aside for us. He was not in a calm mood and insisted we made a mistake on going to a different location and that the item was not in stock. HE KEPT SAYING ARE YOU SURE THEY DIDN'T GO TO WEST KELOWNA???? WE DON'T HAVE IT HERE. ARE YOU SURE THEY DIDN'T GO TO WEST KELOWNA. Hello, we took a photo of the item today with a date and location stamp on it. How would we have taken a photo of an item that Matthew H claims London Drugs never had it. LIKE WHAT??? Graham was able to scan it in front of us (in person) to tell us the sale price of that specific item. It wouldn't have magically disappeared and disappeared from the inventory list on the same day. Anyways, I am very upset for how Matthew H handled this situation.

I went to London Drugs, I bought a Dji osmo 5 but the electronics section had sold my DJI to another customer, I understand error happens at every workplace but their Manger I believe her name was Nerissa she was so kind and helpful that they apologized for their mistake and price matched Dji Osmo 6 for the same price I bought 5 for. I'd give such customer service a 5 star review.

What's always been special about London Drugs is that they carry certain products that nowhere else in town carries, and that they stock some higher-end & odd items. The variety makes for an enjoyable browsing experience. The downside is that they know it and some prices are a bit ridiculous. It's like the exact opposite of Walmart in terms of their inventory management.

I used to really like London Drugs, but after experience I had today I'm not so sure. I went in with an old laptop wanting to have the hard drive removed, put in a case and the rest of the device recycled. I've had this done before and it's usually pretty cheap. When I went to pick it up, they had removed the HD, but hadn't put it in a case. I had to make them give me even a thin plastic bag to get it home. They also tried to make me take the whole device back. Took several minutes and more paperwork to get them to do what was promised intially. To add insult to injury, they charged me over $100 for this.

I needed a cable to connect a monitor to a Surface Tablet. A young man named Jake was most helpful and researched to see I got the right cable. Very professional and knowledgeable.

I created an online order with my uploaded pictures on the London Drugs photolab website. I was able to finish the small project from my phone; no computer was needed. I picked up my order after receiving an email that it was ready in less than a week. It's a small soft cover photobook (I ordered 2) as a going away gift for my homestay student and memories for my daughter. It was a good price and turned out great!

Jesse the tech is the best, hands down best experience I've ever getting my computer fixed, he was very reassuring and made it easy to get back to work as fast as possible considering the the damage to my computer. Thank you

I've been to this location numerous times because it showed online that they had items that I wanted in stock. When i went to the store the items were nowhere to be found, yet showed online 100+ in stock at that store. This is not an isolated incident. All of the times this happened the workers had no idea and offered very little help. There is obviously a disconnect with the inventory showing online and what they have in store. This really needs to be resolved so customers do not waste their time coming into the store for products the store doesn't even have. Workers should also be aware of current promotions and where these items are located in their store. I find this place to be extremely inefficient. I would definitely call beforehand to see if the items you want are actually at this location.

My last review was absolutely scathing but since then they have greatly improved. Good staff knows where everything is, photodesk which is timely or gives you an eta, good service

I had the most upsetting customer experience at this London Drugs location.I’m a 31 year old, who drove down in the snow to purchase my mom cigarettes, she is 61. The customer service agent working on shift was crude and impolite before we even exchanged communication, she aggressively expressed its illegal and against policy to sell to someone if it’s not you. I explained it’s my mother who is the car parking lot and can’t walk well in the snow .They treated me like I was a criminal, I was crying … I asked to speak to a supervisor who also stated it’s policy. When I explained it’s no longer about the tobacco it’s about the cruel and disrespectful treatment she could not care less. Other staff and customers looked appalled —I then called 2 different London Drugs locations to ask if this was in fact a policy, no one had never heard of this. If you want to work at a store front where there are human beings as customer please don’t take out your personal bad days on them, you have no idea what someone else is going through and that should be the “policy”
