Classic brewpub, the oldest one in Montreal and second oldest in the province. Still as relevant as ever, even after a few renovations, they managed to keep that old school bar feel, with terrazzo walls and sober decor. Beers are excellent, and plenty of selection. Belgian saison, brown ales (nobody does brown ales anymore except them), a Tmavé that only Amère à boire could beat, sours and of course the ever present IPAs. Service is friendly and laid back. Crowd is very eclectic, from shiny instagrammers to old crusty punks. Just a great neighborhood pub and an low key gem of the city's beer scene.

I chose the chocolate & beer pairing and my partner had the chocolate & rum pairing. We were both really pleased with our choice. I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate but this experience may have just changed my mind. The chocolate was amazing and the rum and craft beers are all local. You can also just drop in for a craft beer or local rum. Best to make an appointment online if you want to do the tasting or you could be waiting awhile. I know the photo doesn't reflect that but I took it just after a large group had left.

Friendly service and good beers. Close from downtown, near the Berri station, so very accessible.

The Saison Sauvage sparkles and bubbles with freshness. The slightly acidic quality of the yeast offsets that to create a sweetness with a sharp edge. What a wonderfully expressive drink! The notes of hops and malted barley are firm in the fragrance and flavour of the English IPA, without overwhelming the brew. This is a traditional brew that is most satisfying.La Mer TroubleGlorious floral notes inveigle they way up the olfactory routes, sharpening taste buds in anticipation.Oh! May all seas be this troubled! Waves of sweetness crash over the bows, smashing to kindlingthe battened hatches of restraint. Try not to gulp this down; you may go down with all hands. This is best drunk as a dessert beer as it is rather honeyed.

Having tried multiple breweries around Toronto and Montreal, this is One of the best breweries I have visited. Anything on tap is good for your tastebuds. I ordered stout and not sure what I am gonna order next-Brut it was, next level. Enjoy your drink! :)

+++ Well-curated selection of both in-house and guest brews.+++ Fair food offering, ranging from snack to basic quick meals.+++ Decoration straight out of the eighties.--- Decoration straight out of the eighties.Simple is the middle name of this one. It doesn't try anything fancy or trendy; it strives to serve a good, honest pint in a timely manner and among good company. Perhaps it doesn't have the out-and-out flair and fanfare of more modern bars - but it has consistency and community on its side. This place is where the people who come here, come back often.

Such a classic spot! Glad to see they haven't changed a thing with the interior. Either I just dont remember, or maybe its new since Covid, but the outdoor seating is a homerun.

Glad we stopped here to try a few beers. A really fun little brewery with a good selection of different things. Wish we could have been here for a band or something to get a bit more atmosphere but it was mid day on a Monday so I can't complain too much.

Bar tender was cute. We came here with our 'Passport En Fut' ... Which I suggest looking into of you like microbreweries. The bartender wasn't very helpful with picking the beer tho... Just showed us the menu. Great atmosphere tho! Beautiful patio out front! I recommend this place. I enjoyed a pint of the blonde lager.
