I bought insurance here and unfortunately got in an accident. I lost my phone in the accident and ponce recovered it found several voicemails that were very upset with me from a representative. I called them back instantly and sorted everything out. Then I got charged $600 despite having the coverage, so I tried getting in touch with the same representative Zach multiple times and never ever heard back from him. I spoke to another uhaul representative (not from this location) and he said it was really fishy. So not sure what happened, they won't talk to me and they charged me $600 for something I was covered for so I kind of feel like they're just crooks. I'd be willing to remove this post if they gave me my $600 but I guess Zach's already spent it.

Uhaul extended the time on the customer before me without checking on my pick up time. As a result they did not have the 17 foot truck for me as ordered at my pick up time. I had to take a smaller truck, late, and was not offered any compensation to make it right. We could not complete the move in one trip with just the truck as planned as a result and had to use the trunks and back seats of 5 cars in addition to the small 15ft truck. Be aware that Uhaul has adopted United Airlines double booking practices.

They screwed us over. We booked a rental a month in advance because we knew it would be busy as we booked it for the end of August. I'm moving to college on the 31st and move in is listed as 8:00am until 12:30 pm. So we requested it to be picked up in the morning so we would have time to load it up and drive to my college residence. The day before we received our confirmation text which informed us our rental would be ready for pickup in Waterloo at 2:30pm. When we called we were told they didn't have any at this location, but the one in Waterloo wouldn't be ready until the afternoon. And we were told well it's busy this time of month." Yes. Precisely why we booked it so far in advance. They had plenty of time to contact us to let us know a morning pick up wasn't possible. Now we're left scrambling to find an alternative. Disappointed with this from a reputable company."

We went here to buy boxes for moving and when we arrived, a sign on the door said back in 15 minutes" along with a phone number to call. Called 3 times

I was moving out of my apartment so I booked a truck a month in advance. Less than 24 hours before I was to pick up my rental, I received a call to confirm my pickup for the next day, but the representative told me there were no trucks available so I was to pick up a truck in Fergus. On top of the inconvenience of picking up 25 minutes out of the way rather than at the location I booked, my scheduled pick up time was 6am only to arrive and the truck not be available for another hour. When booking weeks in advance I assumed I'd have a truck at the specified pickup location at the time I booked it for.

I would give less than a 0. Do not book online. It's a terrible experience with 0 information provided. They then switch the location that you pick the truck up from without notifying you. All it says on your confirmation is subject to availability. I didn't realize that they would switch locations without letting you know. Now I had to pay more KMs as the location they switched me to is considerably further away. Huge Scam

Have booked here a couple of times (online) without booking issues. Cargo van is advertised as able to accommodate a studio apartment including queen sized bed. Unless you are a jenga master this is not quite true. Otherwise everything else was smooth.

If renting from U-Haul be very aware there is a high likelihood they will call you less than 24hrs before your move to tell you the equipment they'd committed to providing is no longer available. Their solution" will be for you to drive multiple cities over to get what you need
