Ashley and Amy are a fantastic team. We've been SO Impressed. We adopted a high energy reservation rescue who was very mouthy and always pulled on a leash as well as having a very high prey and herding instinct. We thought we were doing OK until Ashley met our Maggie when we learned that not only could Maggie be well behaved but that she would also behave for us. Literally within minutes Maggie was sitting and staying and responding to Ashley's every word or gesture. We've had private training sessions and group sessions. It's been fun and informative. We've even realized that WE were being taught not just Maggie. Now our fireball is well behaving and patient. She walks to heal on a loose leash and responds to our gestures and commands. We still have a long way to go but we've come so far in a very few short months and are so encouraged about the future with our dog.Thank you !! Thank you !! Thank you !!

Would absolutely recommend Elevated Canine to anyone who is looking for a good dog trainer! Their group classes helped my reactive dog so much and Amy and Ashley were super knowledgeable and patient. Super happy that I now have the tools I need to continue training at home.

Elevated Canine has been instrumental in establishing a strong bond between me and my rescue dog. They are very knowledgeable and provide fun activities that both the dogs and owners can enjoy. They genuinely care about the dogs and their owners and get excited when a dog can finally accomplish a task. I would recommend them for training all dogs big and small.

I cannot speak highly enough about how wonderful our experience was with Elevated Canine! We saw great progress in our Hughie. Personally the biggest part for us to have success was understanding the reasoning behind the training techniques and how they applied to Hughie individually. When it makes sense and you see progress it’s so much easier to stick with the training. Amy & Ashley have excellent communication and adapt quickly so every dog at group class was getting what they needed. Thank you for all of the hard work you both put into your group classes!

We brought our shepherd/pit bull cross to Ashley & Amy for basic obedience and some fear responses we were seeing in her around people. We saw a noticeable change almost immediately from the advice they gave us. We have since taken their group trainings several times and have also done their group agility class! We love taking Willow to the group obedience because we work on something different with our dog specifically while also doing the group activities. Some dogs are there to learn the obedience, some are there to just be ok around other dogs or people, some are there for attention on the owner. We love that it is increasingly more difficult each class!! As any dog and the training needed for them, the time spent at home doing the homework is where you will see the big wins, but without the specific advice from Elevated Canine, it's a much longer uphill road. Couldn't say enough good things about them and will recommend 100x over!

The ladies at Elevated Canine Academy are knowledgeable and gentle (but structured). I learned so much about my relationship with my dog, how to work with her temperament, understanding where she is at for her age. I feel super confident moving forward after my private training lesson. I will definitely be hiring them again and would recommend them to anyone interested in improving their training skills.

Amy and Ashley from Elevated Canines are truly thoughtful, inspiring, and supportive trainers. We have worked with them in private classes and socialization walks. They are patient, positive, and they have a great way of explaining each activity so that we as humans know why we are doing each step and what impact it will have no only on our dogs but also our interactions with them. They take the time to check in with everyone in group training and their feedback is specific and easy to follow. In the private classes they send incredibly helpful and straightforward homework and reminders of what was covered. They also send other helpful activities for stimulating the brains of our very intense pups. We have also been able to use Elevated Canines for boarding. They took our pups for great walks, safe socialization, and really made our dogs a part of their family!!!! We could easily tell that our dogs had a dream vacation. Our dogs are so completely different with very different needs and behaviours. Amy and Ashley made sure to help out our anxious dog feel safe and at home and they also made so many play opportunities for our wild and active dog. I am very grateful for their support and genuinely caring training.We recently got to attend the Essentials course and it was a game changer for communicating with our dog and gaining patience! Patience from our dog AND us! Our favourite part of working with Amy and Ashley is that they explain what our dogs are thinking and they explain why our dogs act as they do. This is so helpful!!!! This way we can work WITH the dogs instead of forcing them do do things! We are also able to work on small wins that quickly grow into behaviour changes! This class and working with Amy and Ashley have drastically changed our relationship with our dogs. We are forever grateful!

Amazing place! We rescued a large/reactive dog dont know where we would be without their expertise. They are so kind and so patient. We can't say enough about them. We will be back

Amy and Ashley are spectacular dog trainers and humans! We have one feisty dog who is a lot to handle and they both have handled her with grace. We love the fact they individualize every training plan from one dog to another as well as considering the humans! If you take their advice and make sure to train a little bit everyday it’ll sure pay off. We can’t wait to join more classes!!
