Way under the radar!! I know - you already have your favourite Jerk Joint. Well don’t pass up on this place! The prices are better than all competition and the flavour are at the very top of Brampton‘s best. And yes, I know about Brampton‘s reported best.The name truly reflects the food. It feels like it’s coming from your grandmothers kitchen. If she was Jamaican which mine was not.What I like about this place is it has an expanded menu than the typical pork and chicken options. The lovely lady at the counter asked me if I’ve ever had some of the dishes on the menu I replied no. She gave me samples which was so kind. Have to say I’m now a lover of goat head soup especially on this cold rainy day in March.If you haven’t checked it out order through a delivery service or stop in. The spot is very clean. This could be our new weekly staple but best to keep both of our favourite two restaurants open. So we will alternate between the two. This will be a new favourite of yours.

I ordered the ackee and sailfish with fried dumpling and breadfruit. This is the best Jamaican food spot in town. I have recently ordered from other jamaican restaurants in town and they do not measure up to Shelly's Kitchen. The ackee is always cooked perfectly and its not oily. The breakfast tastes like it was home cooked. This is one of the few places that sells breadfruit and bammy. This is my go to spot now. Thank you for making your food with love!

Nice looking shop. I had high hopes. I ordered oxtail. It wasn't good at all and I got some pieces of meat that were very fatty. Lacked flavor. It hard to mess up oxtail.... I honestly took 2 bites in the car and went to another spot across the parking lot and ordered a whole new meal. I'm really not trying to disrespect you place but i hope you re evaluate your oxtail recipe. Maybe everything else is good but I'm not coming back. Also, 4 pieces of oxtail for $18? SMH.

I had the ackee and saltfish with provisions and I must say it tastes just like home cooking , with very generous portions it was more than enough.... will definitely be going back soon.

The owner is the true definition of a business owner- her customer service is unmatched. The food is great but I will come back time and again because her customer service. Next time we will be trying her breakfast selection.

Good spot for breakfast.. ordered on door dash. I ordered mutton and fried chicken, chicken was so bland rice was so fresh like no salt was added... And as for the mutton all I got was 6 pieces of bones no meat there was no seasoning or pepper,tasted really bad.... I might return for breakfast but definitely not food..

Just ordered here for the first time. Craved some chicken soup and ordered from Uber eats. Wow! Best soup I’ve had in a while. And not stingy with the chicken and portion at all. You just gained a new customer. Excited to try more items. Thank you

I just wanted to say the owner was extremely wonderful and I had a great experience and the food hands down one of the best in BRAMPTON I highly recommend I got the oxtail with rice&peas the oxtail was very soft and so much flavour/ my bf got stew chicken so flavourful will be coming again

Had a craving for jerk and Shelly's hit the spot! Ordered jerk pork with rice and dumpling, amazing! Jerk pork was seasoned and cooked perfect and rice peas was fresh and tasty. The dumpling was done just right and the whole meal really had the flavour of authentic home cooking. Will definitely be going back, and soon.
