Grand Union Cafe
Decided to pop into Hedley on the way home to Vancouver and stumbled upon this place, the little garden with the long table in the shade of a beautiful tree looked so idyllic and also perfect for our little Jack Russel to chill on the cool grass whilst we had iced coffees and espresso ice cream which was to die for! Inside the cafe is a delight for the eyes with a real oldy world feel to it and stuffed full of beautiful and interesting antiques, clothes and arts and crafts. The main thing that struck me was the artwork on the walls, especially the watercolour, then we started chatting with the owner who was a delightful and super interesting chap, turns out it was his own artwork, fantastic! Well, being a watercolour artist myself we chatted for a nice long while! In short… stop just driving past Hedleyand stop in and grab a great chill moment in this awesome spot !!!

Wonderful little coffee shop just off hwy 3. Quaint, wonderful hosts. Must stop here if you need coffee, tea or ice cream between Osoyoos and Princeton. Make sure you look up when standing at the counter.

I enjoyed a home-made muffin (available daily) and a delightful coffee both served by the owner. A great jewel in the Similkameen Valley - will return again.

Cute and unexpected Café! Ice cream, pastries and of course Coffee! I enjoyed their Americano and Almond Biscotti. Everyone is friendly and a great outdoor space to enjoy.

Hit & MissI wish we could leave a better review because this place is so cute, but this was our 3rd visit and 2nd disappointment. The 1st visit was lovely, nice service and a nice latte and scone. 2nd we were over changed and the latte was bitter. Today… the gal was so engrossed in a conversation with a friend we had to repeat the order at least 3 times and guess what, we still didn’t get what we ordered. We asked for a decaf oat milk latte, but it tastes like watered down brewed coffee in milk. It’s 100% not oat milk.Too bad as this was a perfect stop on the journey.

Very welcome stopover with excellent coffee and baked goods. Most charming rural cafe I’ve found in BC so far! For an extra treat wander over to the junk shop across the street and ask Rod if you can see the gallery :-)

This café is nicely done inside and out with the vintage charm and nice outdoor sitting. You will be pleasantly surprised at the decor as soon as you enter.

Hedley is a cool little place to stop in and see. Stop in at the coffee shop and grab a coffee. Sit for a few minutes and enjoy a small BC town. Some very interesting houses to see.
