John is a truly outstanding drum teacher. His passion for teaching and his dedication to his students inspired me a lot for drumming. He allowed me to explore the different styles and sounds of drums. During the lessons, John has always prepared different exercise handouts which makes the lessons more organized and easy to follow. He always has the patience for my questions, and demonstrates the answers very effectively. His passion and professional skill are one of the many reasons why I pursue drumming.

John is a great drum teacher. Before being a student of John's, my upper elementary son has learnt drum for 6 years and passed the grade 6 exam, but started losing his passion and interest in drum. John is nice, patient and knowledgeable. He inspired my son and bring back his interest in drum. He corrected my son's fundamental skills and improved his technique. My son loves going to John's lessons.

Would wholeheartedly recommend John as a drum teacher. My kid has had a lot of fun learning with him, and it feels like she's picked things up really quickly through John's teaching. John works well with students to personalize the instruction to their interests. Also really easy and pleasant to work with as a parent.

The best drum teacher I have ever met! I learned a lot of skills from John. I tried lots of other teachers but they are not as good as him. Before I met him I had never practiced the drum, and I thought it was boring. when I meet john I think drum is very fun instrument, and I love it. if you want to learn drum he will be your best choice.

I've been learning with John for a little bit now and am more than happy to recommended him as a drum teacher! I'm an adult student and there's no pressure when I am with him. He's always incredibly patient and happy to find creative ways to teach me as well as just getting on different and super fun exercises. His space is well equipped and John has also been helpful with suggestions about places to practice or music I can use to play my drums. John is a very skillful drummer and patient teacher. I am working full-time and started learning drum as a hobby a few months ago. We have excellent communication on what I want to try/learn, and he deliveries the quality I expected. In addition, he teaches with his acoustic drum sets, which makes the experience much more fun!

My 8yo son had to switch drum teacher due to relocation of our previous teacher. We started learning drums from John 3 months ago. John is very experience and knowledgeable that he had no problem picking up from where my son's progress and continue teaching/fixing his fundamental techniques of drumming. He was able to break complicated playing into small chunks for my son to absorb and achieve successful playing. John has a teaching plan and he teaches new things when he thinks you are ready. I feel my son is progressing very fast in these 3 months. Thank you John!

My 2 sons have been taking drum lessons with John for almost 5 months. My sons did take some drum class with another teacher in the past, but they don't like that teacher.Great that John can STIMULATE their interest in drum again. John has a lot of EXPERIENCE & PASSION in drum. He has EXPERIENCE IN EACHING KIDS in the way that kids can understand easily. Of course, John has a lot of PATIENCE with my boys.The teaching MATERIAL is wonderful as the class will be more STRUCTURED. My kids can listen to the next songs & prepare a little bit before the class. That's is great learning experience for the kids as well.My kids love that they can be FILMED, so that they can share videos with their friends to show their progress. In this way, my kids have incentive to practice more !!

John was a great teacher for our teenager who was beginning to learn the drum kit. He taught good technique and also catered lessons to what our kid wanted to learn. He shared videos of progress so we could all enjoy the music. He kept our kid interested in lessons in a way no other teacher has been able to!
