*UPDATE*Went to the White Oaks location yesterday... I got a 3pc haddock and fries. The batter was weird and not cooked all the way through. It didn't even look right and didn't taste very good. The fish itself wasn't very good either. I'm VERY disappointed as Joey's has become a favorite of mine!!Sherwood Park location... Ahhhhhh-mazing!!! Super friendly staff, fantastic food!! We will be back!!

Came here on a Wednesday! The place looks clean and staff are friendly! Nothing super special about this place. Fish and chips was alright but except the fries their not very good! Also was disappointed no draft beer and also selection of bottled beer was lacking. Not gonna lie, ain’t coming back to this place unless was invited back for free food lol!

All you can eat fish and chips a great deal. The clear plastic walls have to go though !Takes away the atmosphere

Honestly, the prices were just too high for the portion you get, it was hardly filling and the food was mediocre. There was not a lot of people when we went but the food took forever. The waitress was really nice though.

We didn't order food from the greasy stained menus. We did however drive across town to a different Joey's. (And completely enjoyed our experience there) The mural on the wall was beautiful, and I think it would be a great great place if a bit more effort was put into managing it, in the 20 minutes we were in and seated, this is what we noticed. First hint, it was completely empty on a Saturday night. Inside was ok... until we got closer to the tables, they looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the last customer, the seats were cracked and peeling vinyl. The table was stuck to the wall. The plexy glass had marks and smears all over it.. the waitress was wearing a mask, but her nose was poking out, defeated the purpose. (It doesn't bother me one way or another if someone wears a mask. But if you choose to wear one, wear it properly)We ordered Ices tea, the ice cubes were... murky.. and the straw was already deposited into our drinks. We couldn't find the courage to eat at this location. Please spruce things up and set your standards a little higher, we would happily return.

We used to come here often, but notice lately that the food quality is not as good. The fish and chips tasted as if the deep-fryer oil was old. I asked if I could have yam fries instead of French fries. Apparently, they had changed their menu since we were last there, and now the yam fries are called sweet potato fries, so the waiter didn't know what I was asking for.Also, it could use an update. Booth seats were in bad shape.We're not going back.

Sous vide chicken thigh burger? Hot sauce / buttermilk marinated? This seems like a frozen mcdonalds Mchicken burger to me.. if I wanted a frozen chicken burger I would have went to no frills and bought 2 boxes for the price i just paid. Not impressed. Server was nice thats about it.
