Go West

Go West and Boulet Boots offer hands down the best boots and service in Quebec. Bought a pair a year ago and I recently noticed it had a minor defect on one of the sole. Went back to the store without a receipt and they took the pair back, shipped it to their headquarters in St-Tite, fixed the boot and called me when it was back at the store, all that FREE OF CHARGE. That is how you do business, I was already sold but that's just the cherry on top, best customer service ever. Thanks Johnny, truly a gem!

This was an absolutely amazing store with an amazing owner to greet you and to help you find the perfect boots. My expectations were blown away and had a lot of fun trying boots on. I highly recommend this store.

The absolute best place to buy cowboy boots in Canada, most likely the world!! I went all the way from Toronto to Montreal because I knew this was the place to get boots. I have wide legs and feet and was not expecting to find the perfect pair. However, the owner Johnny was determined to help me find a pair of boots in the colour and style I wanted, that was also comfortable and fit perfectly. If you are thinking about buying boots, I don’t believe there is any better place to buy them other than Go West in Montreal. Best shopping experience of my life, and that’s no joke!!

I have worn Boulet boots for over 30 years. We had a visit to Montreal planned and added Go West to our must do list. 3 steps in the door and Johnny stated “you are here for boots”. The floor echoed. This was the easiest purchase I have ever made. He put out a couple pair ‘just to determine size’. Then he pulled out boots from his inventory and I spent the next 10 minutes trying them on. No hassles, just trying on great fitting boots. Walked out with two pair.! Thank you so much for making it all so easy. Top notch service!!

An eclectic selection of shoes with a treasure trove western boots to the back, Go West is gem of an old school shop, hanging on through the tumultuous COVID times and recent upheaval along St Hubert Plaza and keeping what makes the street interesting and unique.Johnny is a shinning tribute to hands-on, well-seasoned, shop help — not pushy, friendly and easy to chat with, pulling items at the drop of a suggestion to what you are looking for! Loads of look through, with prices on point — Support your local independent shops! I happily encourage a visit and will be back!

The owner is very welcoming. Well organised. You find almost everything you look for. I loved the boots section. He has 10$ or 30$ shoes. He explains to you how he divided the display so it is easier for clients to look for the size shoe. Very helpful. Smiley. Respect. Big choice. Good price.

I'm not a fan of shopping these days, as I am quite picky and have great difficulty finding things that fit me well (both clothing & shoes). Then I read some reviews about this particular gem. What an absolute treat! Every shopper should experience this merchant, who has made it through this crazy pandemic. My hope was to leave with a pair of cowboy boots that I am to wear as a bridesmaid, even though I wasn't very confident going in. I not only walked out with a pair, I wanted more, and I will definitely be back. Five minutes into our conversation, Johnny was able to pick up on exactly what I would need. He was far from pushy, and gave me the time and space to make my selections and take the time to try on what I wanted as many times as I needed. I barely even had to browse through the shelves; he continued to bring me pairs that worked with my likes based on my keep" & "toss" piles. I must've tried on at least 20 pairs
