We left Earbuds in our room after checkout and received a call soon after letting us know. We were already at the Airport and they had them shipped to our home. Very Honest!

Beautiful hotel. Everything about this stay was great! Wonderful service, delicious breakfast, lovely modem room, quiet/uninterrupted and the temperature was perfect (not our usual experience with hotels). :)

Rooms were a decent size, could have maybe done more to utilize the space but whatever. The hotel lobby was very nice and clean and they have a huge parking lot.They force you to eat your breakfast in the dining area and don't allow you to bring your plates to your room.

Really happy with the room, the speed of check in, and the breakfast.My only complaint (at no fault of the hotel) was the lack of parenting skills shown by other customers, as they let a group of 10 kids loose in the hallways. A bunch of them were knocking on doors and running away.I do hope in the future, these parents learn how to handle their children, as I don't feel like it's my job or the hotel's job to discipline them or keep track of them.Other than that, I am extremely happy with Microtel and will be doing business with them in the future.Thank you Microtel for the great stay!!!

A hidden gem and great place to stay in Portage la Prairie.We visited friends in PLP and wanted a good hotel to stay at - and this is it!The access is great, plenty of secure parking with plug ins for the winter, a pool and easy access to lots of food options. The hotel is very new and well kept.Our stay was without issue - the staff at check-in was great and immediately cleaned a spilled coffee from a guest who was checking in also. Very thorough and professional staff.The breakfast was great - with hot, cold and continental options. The buffet was clean with many options. The open concept flows well and there is plenty of space to get your food and enjoy it or prepare to rush off and get at the rest of the day.The would return to this hotel on my next trip to the are..

Very clean, place smells great. They're super nice. Breakfast was awesome. No complaints whatsoever. Stay here, its probably the best around. Didn't want to try the other spots after looking at this place online

Good price, that's all I can be positive about.We booked & paid in full, for two rooms, via a 3rd party booking g site. At check-in, the desk staff insisted on us paying for the rooms a second time, because they had not yet received payment from the 3rd party.Complete B.S.!!

Location is great for people travelling through, right off the highway. Service was great. Hot breakfast in the morning was also good. Hotel was very clean. Would definitely stay here againThe two people working the breakfast area on June 30th morning around 8-8:30am were fantastic. So lovely and welcoming. Kudos to them!

Very clean newer hotel. Breakfast was good service was good workers were very friendly. Large well lit parking lot . I was pulling a 23 ft enclosed trailer and there were no issues finding a place to park or getting in and out of lot. Easy location to find right off the highway. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the shower water pressure is very low. A minor detail but I like a good shower. Would stay here again
