I would like to thank the Work BC Maple Ridge for helping me to achieve my goal to be an ECE.Currently im taking the course to fulfill my goal.The Work BC Maple Ridge supported me and accomodate my needs.Special thanks to Dana,she is very helpful and guided me to upgrade my skills to have a more rewarding career.

I am very grateful to WorkBC Maple Ridge. They have been very kind and supportive with my career goals. They provided me resources to get the job that suits my skills. I’m an immigrant and a year ago I wasn’t sure I could still practice in the field I was trained in. I contacted WorkBC Maple Ridge and was in touch with Tracy. She had spent time helping me get the resources I need. She was so patient and worked hard so I could get the funding I need to go back to school.I’m extremely thankful to Sheryl S. for guiding and supporting me with the job search. She’s amazing! She has been so patient and kind. She assisted me with resources to help me with my job search including resume and interview workshops. She didn’t stop the support when I got hired, she continually supported me making sure that the job I got best suits my skills and goals. She is very thoughtful, made sure I was doing good and happy with my job.I’m also grateful to Dana for making sure I get the resources for the training/education program that I was in.It has been a challenging journey for my career but WorkBC Maple Ridge made it easier. I wouldn’t achieve my goals without their support. I couldn’t be more grateful to them!!

This is government institution that puts others to shame ( im talking to you Liberals and ICBC)The staff is extremely friendly and supportive and have tons of resources to help people with.They are doing God's work by helping people make something of their lives so they can have food to eat and a roof over their heads.But Bless the people that work here. Their positivity and good work ethic certainly shows.I only came in to use their printer and scanner and I see how they help others here.

I was able to get my dream job by WorkBc and all their help. They are very helpful and supportive! my experience with them has been great! My case manager Dana was so caring, professional and enrolled me in the EA program, an excellent fully funded program. I am so grateful to WorkBC for providing exceptional services and highly recommend it to those seeking help for success.

I was out of job for more than a year without luck. Then I reached out to WorkBC and connected with Employment Placement Specialist Sheryl, she edited my resume and comment on my performance on interviews: what's good, what's bad. Her words had really granted me a lot of courage since my self-esteem was quite low at that point: it's not me that's not good, it's me not fitting into the position. And I should be honest and show the true me. I got my current job's interview by luck: they did hire someone but that person left soon, I wasn't even in their first round of hiring but everyone else they had talked to were already in other positions. So I got an interview, presented myself as how Sheryl told me to, and I had the job! I am now three month into the new position and I LOVE my job and my team. Sheryl did not hand me the job directly but she certainly prepared me well enough to get it!

The support and services I received from the firm is outstanding, specially Sheryl went above and beyond to ensure I am helped on different levels including writing resume, appointment flexibility and job placement. And it all contributed big role on the job I was able to find.

The support I have received from the Maple Ridge Work BC Centre has been great. The team assisted me with revising my resume, cover letter and interview skills as well as job search. My employment specialists’ continual communication and support helped immensely. The opportunity for work experience came up and there was a tight deadline. My career coach swiftly put through the application to Work BC for aid and again everyone was so helpful. I really appreciate all the assistance Maple Ridge Work BC has provided.

As a newcomer and a second language it was not easy for me to find a job aligned with my experience and background. Thanks to WorkBC Centre Maple Ridge, I participated in amazing workshops conducting by Joe who helped me a lot with writing resume and cover letter as well as improving my interview skills. My case manager Dana was so caring and professional and enrolled me in the last minute in AMPLIFY, an excellent fully funded program. I am so grateful of WorkBC for providing amazing services and highly recommend it to those who are seeking help for success.

Throughout the services I have received from staff at WorkBC Maple Ridge I have always found them to be helpful and professional. The professionalism and services were consistent whether I was in a workshop, Resource Centre, or in my Employment Services to job search. Especially, I am thankful for support I received from my Employment Specialist, Sheryl Shankar. Sheryl followed up with me regularly and always made me feel like my questions were addressed after meeting with her. I learned so many valuable job searching techniques, and most of all she always went above and beyond and encouraged me and helped me believe in myself and gave me the courage to accomplish my goals and help me with employment. I have completed my training now and I am successfully working in my field thanks to her commitment to help me and the staff here. Thank you everyone.
