The service in Blue Barn is always beyond exceptional. The store is very well maintained and well stocked, making it an inviting shopping experience. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always good for a laugh or two or three. I will always shop there and I highly recommend this store.Note….I accidentally put on the Castlegar page, I’m sure they are great too, but was meant for the awesome peeps in the Terrace store.

I was very happy being a customer here and buy top of the line food for my cat and dog, not sure if ill be supporting them after they trashed me about giving kittens away for free to friends that where there shopping.Not professional at all. Its not ok for me to give kittens away to a great home but its ok for you to sell them?

Blue Barn is by far the best pet store I’ve ever visited. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming they have a great selection and always have deals going on. The puppy booklet we got when we adopted was full of hundreds of dollars of free and hugely discounted items! I love their store kitty cat and other animals and never shop for pet stuff anywhere else!

Such amazing experiences every time. I was looking for a Urinary Care food for my cat and the worker helped talk me through her recommendations for different brands. And now I have a dog as well so picked up some essentials because I love supporting Local!

I would give zero stars if I could. Charging people nearly double the cost of the Smithers Feed Store for a bag of grain for hobby farm animals. It seems as though since us farm people have nowhere else to shop they can gouge us. I will not be supporting them in any form and will make the drive to Smithers to support a store that is not robbing people blind. $30/bag of shavings here vs $11.25 at Smithers and $40 for a bag of step feed vs. $20 at Smithers. Disgusting.

Went to shop today March 20th, 22 and noticed that there were multiple items of treats and chews that were extremely moldy. Not just a few spots of mold, here and there, but fully moldy. The display on the left hand side, single large chews 2nd or 3rd down from the top. Yak chews original cheese do not contain ingredients like bacon bits or peanut butter as the ingredient list is very limited... original... cheese....Ie. The yak cheese chews. Those items have recently been moved around int he store too (facing front till). They clearly have been seen and not taken care of. Seems the care for quality product have gone downhil, consider the price at bluebarn compared to Petland and Total Pet. I have started shopping at Total Pet and Petland more often, due to the downhill quality at Bluebarn quality and their pricing.

Blue Barn has a fantastic selection of pet food, supplies, toys, etc. for just about any type of animal, including livestock. They have a great partnership with the local rescue groups and shelters too and often put on events to support them. The staff are always super friendly!
