We recently moved from Toronto and we were looking for a good Vet who could handle our dog JUNO who is slightly aggressive towards strangers and have behavioural issues.Everyone at Grand Ave treated Juno very well and made sure he was comfortable during the consultation and vaccinations.We are very grateful to them for giving a quick appointment when we notified them that Juno was not feeling well.Excellent place to take your best friend! Highly recommended.

I've taken many of my cats here and have never had an issue. You can tell they genuinely care about animals. They were very supportive when I had to put down one of my cats and let me have the room as long as I needed.

Luna just had her spay & shots done.Great experience.Was walked through everything that would be happening during her stay.Luna is skeptical of new people & they did amazing with her.My kitten will need his neuter done in a month we will be booking him here as well.Thank you so much for taking such great care of our big girl ❤

Had a puppy in pretty bad pain and when we called after 5 on a Friday, we were told come right in. As busy as they were they made room for Rosco and thanks to the vet and his compassionate staff, Rosco is a much happier puppy!

They have been absolutely amazing with my furbabies! They show great knowledge and confidence in the care they provide; answer all questions and guide families through new experiences. When I drop my kitten and cat off to the staff, I know they are very well taken care of. I appreciate their compassion toward my babies.

The staff are friendly and nice at the office, however, I only recommend you go here for simple things like seasonal immunizations or shots. If presented with a serious problem, they will just charge you for some medicine that will not help and send you on your way. Not a genuinely good doctor who is willing to spend the time to find the problem for you and your pet.

Take your fur baby elsewhere . They were VERY aggressive with my nervous dog. She is still traumatized, from the aggressive approach.They do not provide alternative treatment options for your pet, if their initial treatment plan is impossible to work with due to a difficult pet. And they Will make you look like you are neglecting your pet if you don't comply to their treatment plan.We asked several times for an alternative way to treat our dog, only to be refused. Zero compassion and zero professionalism.Update: Their office had the nerve to send an email to me saying, I for personal reasons decided not to treat my dog so I assumed risks and complications that will arise for not following the advice given."We are returning to our original vet back in Cambridge where they have given more reasonable treatment options to us and are truly compassionate and professional ."

I will never recommend this vet. I wish there were an option to give zero stars. The customer service here has really gone down over the past year. My dog was having difficulty breathing and crying in pain. I called the clinic first thing at opening and explained what was going on and my dog could be heard crying when I was on the phone. The lady that answered the phone suggested that I bring my dog to London in a snowstorm to be seen since they couldn't see her for a WEEK! Zero compassion! You would think with Chatham not having an emergency vet that it would be a good business practice to have spots available for emergency situations during business hours. I had to wait till the snow storm ended and I drove her to a 24 hour vet in Windsor. The Windsor vet took my dog in right away. Unfortunately her lungs were full of fluid and she was experiencing heart failure. My dog had to be euthanized. I will never forget what this vet had put my dog through.

The staff is very compassionate and caring with the animals, as well as being very knowledgeable and professional. They were there for us when we had an emergency. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. I highly recommend them. They are the best.
